[His fists are clenched so tight they’re probably
bleeding. He’s in so much pain right now.]
[Big bro loves sis the most! In the rest of the
story, he’s the one who pampers her the most!]
I watched these comments defend Jason with
cold eyes.
True love doesn’t involve pain. These three

men, who had hurt me the most, didn’t deserve
to talk about love.
Ethan and Amber’s wedding day arrived quickly.
Ethan and Chad forced me to be a waitress at
the wedding, all because Amber said she
“hoped to hear my blessing.”
Amber and Ethan made their entrance in grand
wedding attire, while I walked among the guests
with a tray, enduring their taunts.
“So that’s Sarah. I heard she tried to steal her
own sister’s fiancé.”
“So malicious. Nothing like Amber.”
“She still has the nerve to show up at their
wedding. Hasn’t she given up yet?”
Amber stood by the giant cake, holding the
cake knife, showing it off to me.
<
“Sister, today is the most important day of my
life. Can you give me your blessing?”
I was silent for a long time. Ethan frowned and
snapped at me.
“Sarah, didn’t you hear Amber?”
My eyes were fixed on the knife in Amber’s
hand. I think I finally found my ticket home.
If they wouldn’t let me live in peace, then even
in death, I wouldn’t let them have it easy.
“What are you doing, Sarah?”
Chad, standing farthest away, noticed
something was wrong, but it was too late.
I lunged forward, ramming my chest directly
onto the blade.
I collapsed in an instant, blood pouring out,
<
feeling my life slip away.
Finally, I was going home.
As I fell, three anguished roars ripped through
the air.
[WTF, why did sis un–alive herself?]
[Isn’t this supposed to be a sweet romance?! AHHH!]
[What are the three male leads supposed to do now that she’s dead?]
The knife was still in Amber’s hand. She
shrieked, instinctively turning to Ethan for help.
But Ethan didn’t even look at her. He fell to his
knees in front of me, his face a mask of shock
and grief, and carefully lifted me up.
“Sarah… Sarah, wake up… you’re trying to scare
me again, right? Don’t do this. I was wrong. I
don’t like Amber, I only love you, really, I was
wrong, I was so wrong!”
I had a sliver of strength left. I struggled,
pushing his hand away, and then slowly closed
my eyes.
My soul began to drift from my body. Ethan
completely broke down, pressing his face to
mine, his tears mixing with my blood.
“Sarah, wake up! Please, wake up! Let’s get
married right now, okay? We were supposed to
get married, you promised! You can’t break
your promise!”
His voice became numb, shattered. As if he
couldn’t believe I was dead, he held me tightly,
murmuring about our past.
“Sister? Sister!”
Jason had just returned from outside when he
heard the commotion. Then, he saw my cold
body.
Ethan was clutching me, not letting anyone
touch me.
