“But now that you’ve met me and brought me back to your place, shouldn’t you forget about that woman from the past?” Kendrick looked up at her, his gaze complex, filled with swirling emotions.
Raelynn narrowed her eyes slightly. With a firm resolve, she leaned in, her lips gently pressed against his.
Feeling the cool softness of her lips, Kendrick’s breath caught. He immediately shifted from being passive to taking control, pulling her into his arms and onto the couch.
Raelynn couldn’t even remember when he had taken her clothes off. It seemed like they had both forgotten about the intimacy they’d just been through; passion was reignited.
Kendrick’s hand boldly moved downward, about to breach her final defense, when the door to the villa suddenly burst open.
Thea had gotten the key from Kendrick’s mother; as Kendrick was unreachable at the office, she had no choice but to come here.
She never expected to walk in and be hit with such a scandalous scene!
“Ahh-!”
Thea screamed, covering her head, her eyes wide with disbelief.
Kendrick furrowed his brow, pulling himself off of Raelynn and turning to face the shocked woman behind him, though there was no real surprise on his face.
“Kendrick, what are you doing?!”
Like many naive women, Thea never imagined she’d be the one asking such a question.
Despite catching them in the act, she still clung to a glimmer of hope.
Kendrick’s cold eyes flicked toward her, clearly not planning to go back to her.
Kaelynn smiled and slowly sat up from the couch, casually adjusting her clothes, her expression indifferent.
“Who are you?”
Thea pointed at her, acting like a jealous woman.
Raelynn’s cool gaze swept over Thea, then shifted back to Kendrick. With curiosity, she asked, “Mr. Reece, is this your girlfriend?”
Kendrick didn’t hesitate and shook his head, “No.”
His response almost shattered Thea completely.
“Kendrick!”
Her unreasonable tantrum didn’t faze him. Kendrick found it utterly annoying. He pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration and snapped, ‘Can you be quiet?”
Raelynn smirked, a feeling of satisfaction surging inside her.
So, Thea, looks like it’s your turn now.
“You shameless sl°t! How dare you mock me!”
Thea, flustered and furious, grabbed a cup from the table and threw it at Raelynn.
“Are you crazy?”
Kendrick’s face turned cold. He grabbed Thea’s wrist and tossed her aside.

“Linda, are you okay? Are you hurt?”
Hearing the concern in his voice. Raelynn’s expression shifted slightly. It was a glass of cold water but she sall held her cheek and pouted, feigning anger. “Seems like she has a bad temper. Mr. Reece, you know how I am but if that’s the case, then it’s time for you to choose between us.”
Raelynn pointed at the woman who fell on the floor. She narrowed her eyes and stated. “If you choose her, don’t come looking for me again.
We’ll be done.”
She emphasized every word.
Her statement made Kendrick freeze, his body tensing with panic.
There was something familiar about the way she spoke, something that reminded him of the woman who had once sai those same words to him.
His gaze bore into Linda’s. Why did their gazes look so alike?
Raelynn had achieved her goal. Without another word, she stood up, her face cold, and slammed the door behind her as she left the villa
Thea, wincing in pain, struggled to get up from the floor. She stared in disbelief at Raelynn’s retreating figure, frozen in place.
