The recipient of that transplant was listed as Kendrick Reece.
Kendrick clutched the medical records, his entire body shaking uncontrollably. As he turned to face the prison guard who had handed him the records, tears unexpectedly began to fall from his eyes!
“Kendrick, let’s fix things between us. I’m sorry for not being there when you were sick. I shouldn’t have been angry. I’ve been feeling off myself lately. My stomach was hurting so badly, I needed to get my appendix removed. See, I wasn’t lying- they even stitched me up!”
She told him the scar on her abdomen was from an appendectomy. He couldn’t forget the innocent, pained expression on Raelynn’s face when she made that claim years ago.
It turned out, it wasn’t appendicitis at all!
His eyes welled up with rage, and his temples bulged with tension.
“Sir?”
The prison guard noticed the man shaking uncontrollably and hesitated before speaking.
Kendrick, stunned, flipped through the medical records over and over. His face slowly shifted from shock to disbelief, and his tears flowed more freely.
He remained silent, but the pain flooded his heart like an overwhelming wave.
“Raelynn…”

He wiped away his tears, focused on steadying his breath, and composed himself. His grip on the medical records tightened, his eyes filled with turmoil, no longer easily taken by surprise.
“Find out everything about what happened to Raelynn in prison these last two years! I want all the details!”
After ending the call with Tim, Kendrick returned to the villa with the medical records in hand.
However, the following hour of waiting felt like an eternity.
When his phone lit up, he quickly picked up.
“What did you find?”
Hearing his impatient tone, Tim nervously swallowed, knowing he had to deliver shocking news. He steadied himself before saying, “Mr. Reece, after using all our contacts, we confirmed that Ms. Elway did indeed experience a major incident in prison during the past two years…”
Suddenly, the image of Raelynn’s beautiful, tempting face flashed in Kendrick’s mind. She smiled at him in a taunting way, her voice cold as she described how she had been involved with men in prison.
Shaking his head forcefully, he demanded, “Tell me!”
With clenched teeth, Tim pressed on, “Ms. Elway gave birth to a child in prison! The child was immediately taken by his biological father after birth.”
A flash of shock crossed Kendrick’s face, as if he had been struck by lightning, and he shouted furiously, “Who is the father?”
“It’s Alberto Glunt, Tim replied.
It was him.

Kendrick stood frozen for two seconds before his fury erupted, throwing his phone onto the sofa with all his might.
The child must have been conceived before Raelynn’s imprisonment, meaning she and Alberto had been involved much earlier than anticipated!
“Raelynn!”
A flood of shock, anger, and a strange, aching sensation filled his chest, washing over him like a powerful wave.
He pressed his chest for a moment, still reeling from the intense emotions that refused to fade.
An idea suddenly crossed his mind, and his eyes sparkled. He quickly leaned down to make a call on his phone, instructing, “Start investigating Alberto immediately! I need to know his exact whereabouts as soon as possible!”
Kendrick reopened the medical records, his eyes fixed on the black text on the white page. A chilling coldness spread through his body.
Hold on!
Hadn’t Thea been the one who donated the kidney? How could it be Raelynn?
With this thought, he quickly redialed, saying, “In addition to checking on Alberto, look into Thea right away! Focus on all the details of the kidney transplant she had at the hospital back then, when it happened, which hospital, who performed the surgery, get everything for me!”
He needed to verify this himself!
