Chapter 6
When she woke up again, she found herself lying on the bed in the room, with Trevor standing coldly by the bedside.
“This time, you caused such a big trouble. You should have been locked up for three days and three nights, but Hannah, being kind–hearted, didn’t hold it against you. She begged me to let you go.”
“I knew you still had a thief’s heart for me, Alisha, but remember this, I could never like a girl
twelve years younger than me. You and I, it’s never possible.”
As the words fell, the door slammed shut in front of Alisha, and the loud sound of the closing door
instantly drowned out the explanation she had wanted to say.
She leaned back against the headboard, closed her eyes, and let out a long sigh, murmuring that
sentence.
“Trevor, I really didn’t like you anymore.”
In the following days, the Pownall family became extremely lively.
The entire villa was preparing for Trevor and Hannah’s upcoming wedding.
Hannah enthusiastically grabbed Alisha while directing, as if all the previous unpleasantness had
vanished into thin air.
“The venue and decorations were almost ready, only the bridesmaid was missing. I think Alisha is a
good fit, let her share the joy, who knows, maybe she can even find a groomsman to be her
boyfriend.”
In the end, Hannah’s words also contained a hint of sarcasm.
Alisha felt that she did not have the same brilliant acting skills as Hannah. She was about to refuse,
pulling her hand out of her elbow, when Trevor’s voice suddenly rang out from above them.
“She couldn’t be a bridesmaid.”
Alisha and Hannah turned around at the same time and happened to see Trevor standing behind
them.
“Why not?” Hannah seemed somewhat surprised that Trevor would reject her proposal.
Trevor didn’t speak, he just looked up and glanced at Alisha beside him.
Lately, she seemed to have become a bit obedient and no longer bothered him all day long.
But when he thought about Alisha finding a boyfriend in the future, he inexplicably felt suppressed and unhappy.

When asked for the reason, he couldn’t explain it either.
Trevor lowered his gaze and was about to come up with a random excuse when he heard Allsha speak up.
“I was younger, so being a bridesmaid was not suitable.”
Actually, she was about to go abroad.
She was destined not to attend this wedding.
Upon hearing this, Trevor nodded in agreement, and only then did Hannah finally dismiss the thought.
Just as Alisha was about to breathe a sigh of relief and leave, she heard Hannah say, “Since Alisha can’t be the bridesmaid, why not give me the wedding dress you designed earlier as a way to show your blessings? I really like it.”
Upon hearing this, Alisha couldn’t help but look at Trevor.
The wedding dress was designed by Alisha when she was eighteen years old and had won an award in a competition.
There were countless socialites and heiresses in the circle who valued this wedding dress and wanted to buy it to wear on their wedding day, but Alisha refused all of them.
Just because this was what she had designed to leave for herself.
She wanted to wear it and marry Trevor.
Trevor knew its meaning, but he didn’t want to disappoint Hannah, so he spoke up.
“Alisha, as long as you sell me this wedding dress, I will agree to any request you make, no matter
what it is.”
Alisha tugged at her lips and said, “No need, Hannah is right. I should also extend my blessings to
you all. In that case, consider this wedding dress as an early gift from me to you.”
After speaking, Alisha made a phone call to the bridal shop.
Soon, the staff brought the wedding dress stored in the store and handed it over to Hannah
personally.
Hannah got her beloved wedding dress and didn’t have time to bother Alisha. She joyfully ran to the fitting room to try on the wedding dress.
Alisha calmly watched her back and then turned back to her room.
Only Trevor watched her figure and fell into deep thought for a long time.

In the early morning, Alisha stayed alone in the room, packing her luggage.
Her luggage had been almost packed, and the procedures were almost done. Soon, she would be able to leave.
Just as I had hidden my suitcase and was ready to go to sleep, the door of the room was suddenly pushed open by someone.
Alisha had barely had time to react when Trevor burst in and tightly grabbed her wrist, launching into a torrent of scolding.
“What did you do to the wedding dress!”
“Hannah just tried it on for a moment, but soon after, she started itching all over and developed a rash. Alisha, did you want to kill her or something?”
Under the dim yellow light, Trevor’s eyes were filled with anger, like sharp knives that seemed to want to dismember her body piece by piece.
Alisha shook her head quickly, “I have never touched a wedding dress, and it is impossible for me to tamper with a wedding dress, let alone have a reason to harm Hannah!”
Trevor’s face darkened, and he forcefully threw her onto the bed. His eyes were as c his voice was filled with anger.

“Why didn’t you have a reason? I knew you had always been unwilling to give up on me, but you shouldn’t have hurt Hannah. You better pray that she’s okay, otherwise…”
Trevor had not finished speaking when the nanny suddenly burst in from outside the door.
“Oh no, Mr. Pownall, Ms. Geary fainted!”
“Look at her, don’t let her run away!”
Trevor’s face changed, and after leaving these words, he quickly rushed out of the room.
