Chapter 17
The heavy snowfall caused Trevor to once again fall into a high fever and unconsciousness.
Larry couldn’t bear to see him calling Alisha’s name again and again in a dazed manner.
Larry pulled a lot of strings overnight, hoping that Alisha could come to the hospital to see Trevor.
But in the end, Larry only received the voice recorder sent by Antony’s servant.
In the quiet room, there was only Trevor alone.
He looked at the recorder in his hand for a long time before finally pressing the switch.
After a burst of noisy sounds, Alisha’s voice broke into his ears.
Her tone was somewhat sarcastic. “If Hannah hadn’t had an accident, I might have never received his apology until the day I die.”
That’s how people are, only waiting for the truth to be discovered, only waiting to regret after losing. But I don’t need this belated remorse at all. I don’t want to continue entangling with Trevor for those things, because it only adds to my troubles and serves no other purpose. No more communication, no more encounters, that’s the best ending between Trevor and me.
Trevor listened to the short sentence over and over again.
He deluded himself into finding evidence that the recording was forged.
But he was too familiar with Alisha’s voice, so familiar that he could tell it was her exact words as soon as he heard it.
There was simply no possibility of forgery.
She spoke in every word and sentence about the fact that she didn’t like him, even in this
paragraph, there was no trace of her hatred towards him.
The plain tone truthfully told him the truth.
Trevor, give up, you never had a chance with her.
“Bang!”
The recording pen in his hand was fiercely smashed to the ground by Trevor.
He had crimson eyes, and he kept gasping heavily, covering his chest.
This scene startled Larry, who had rushed in upon hearing the sound. Chapter 17

Before Larry could even speak, Trevor suddenly shouted, “Get out!”
The ward door was closed again, and Trevor collapsed despairingly onto the hospital bed, his eyes
filled with regret.
“Alisha…”
Antony smirked when he learned that the recording pen had been delivered to Trevor’s hands at the
Brennan’s mansion.
The smile was like a gentle breeze, making Alisha, who was coming down the corner stairs, also burst into laughter.
“What made you so happy?”
Antony quickly stood up and walked forward to hold her hand as they descended the last step.
“A very interesting little incident.”
Alisha didn’t ask much either, she just sat down on the couch with Antony.
Antony tightly embraced her in his strong arms, with his face pressed against her little face.

Antony suddenly became interested and kept blowing air in her ear.
In the end, Alisha, who couldn’t avoid it, was pushed down onto the sofa by Antony.
Warm lips covered her soft lips, gradually stealing her breath, as the fragrant saliva slid and caressed between entwined tongues.
Alisha’s struggle diminished over time, and eventually she obediently closed her eyes, as if
everything was taken for granted.
- it.
She forgot to think, and didn’t want to think. She just instinctively wanted to hold Antony, tighter,
even tighter.
As the kiss ended, Antony lifted Alisha up and walked upstairs step by step.
Soon, the man’s muffled groans and the woman’s delicate gasps seeped out from the thick crack of
the door.
The servants outside quickly bowed and quietly retreated upon hearing this, while the moon in the sky also quietly hid among the clouds.
In the early morning, Antony turned Alisha over in his arms.

The dense kisses moved slowly from her shoulder, which was covered in kiss fnarks, and finally landed on her soft lips.
Antony finally calmed Alisha’s discontented panting and gently patted her to put her back to sleep.
When he came downstairs after tidying up, he immediately noticed the servant looking at him with a troubled expression on his face.
“Mr. Brennan, there were suddenly a lot of gifts piled up outside the door, they said they were for Mrs. Brennan, take a look…”
Although Alisha and Antony were only engaged, from the moment Alisha moved into the Brennan’s mansion, Antony had everyone refer to her as Mrs. Brennan.
Upon hearing this, Antony immediately guessed who had sent these gifts.
He remained unchanged in expression, only calmly saying, “Send them all back, just don’t let Alisha know.”
