Chapter 16
Actually, Trevor had already fallen in love with Alisha from an earlier time.
When she last said that she didn’t like herself.
When I found out that Alisha had disappeared.
After he entered Alisha’s room, he couldn’t find the love letters she had written to Trevor and the
portraits she had painted.
When he came to Solterria, he saw her dating someone else and eventually getting engaged.
Trevor had already fallen in love with Alisha without his knowledge.
But his liking was regarded as strange and restrained in Trevor’s heart.
This liking was suppressed time and time again by Trevor, only to resurface once more.
Until this moment, this love finally erupted completely.
Trevor’s heart felt as if it had been clenched by a large hand, causing him to gasp for breath in pain.
There was a m oment when he wanted to rush in regardless of everything, run up the stairs and grab
Alisha’s hand, and tell her that he liked her.
In the past, he was not good in many ways, hoping that she could give him a chance to make
amends.
But in reality, his feet were as if nailed down, and he couldn’t move at all.
The pure
white snow fell all over him, but no matter how cold his body was, it couldn’t compare to
the coldness in his heart.
He watched helplessly as the girl who used to love him stood beside another man, whispering sweet
words to him.
Alisha’s eyes were filled with the long–lost joy and excitement.
In a daze, Trevor remembered a rainy night from a long time ago.
The rain that day was as heavy as the snow today.
That night, it was also separated by a building, separated by such a window.
He and Hannah passionately made love in front of the warm closet.
While Alisha, on the other hand, knelt in the pouring rain all night, watching their happiness

throughout the entire night.
That night, Trevor witnessed the growing despair in Alisha’s eyes, and finally, she closed her eyes
heavily and fell to the ground.
Now, Trevor finally experienced firsthand what Alisha had gone through at that time.
Trevor just realized the heart–wrenching pain and despair Alisha experienced in this situation.
The “snowman” standing in front of the castle gradually attracted the attention of many guests.
People stood by the French windows, sipping warm hot cocoa and whispering about which romantic
person the snowman was again.
Finally, the two protagonists of the banquet were also drawn to the French windows.
Alisha was somewhat surprised when she caught a glimpse of the snowman’s expression.
After the accident, it seemed somewhat ridiculous.
She had also heard about the domestic affairs.
Trevor’s once pure and flawless love is now synonymous with cruelty in his heart.
And Alisha, with all the malice in his heart, was actually the most innocent victim in all of this.
The reversal and inversion of the two women’s images finally made Trevor realize what he had
done in the past.
So he traveled a long distance to Solterria to find her.
So he would do such a self–proclaimed romantic thing in the heavy snow.
Alisha tightened her grip on the cup and then casually averted her
gaze.
Her tone was somewhat sarcastic when she spoke, “If Hannah hadn’t had an accident, I probably would have never received his apology until I died.”
That’s how people are, only waiting for the truth to be discovered, only waiting to lose before
realizing regret.
Alisha didn’t need this belated remorse at all.
She also didn’t want to continue getting entangled with Trevor because of those things.
In that way, apart from causing oneself more trouble, it had no other effect.
They would never come into contact again, never see each other again. It was the best ending

between her and Trevor.
Antony said nothing, but silently held Alisha in his arms, comforting her without uttering a word.
The lights of the castle went out one by one, and the cars in the snowy field drove away one by one.
Trevor, standing in the snow, did not wait for Alisha until the castle’s gates were tightly closed.
