Chapter 125
It was a blue floor–length dress that flowed freely, looking almost ethereal. It had a low neckline and sleeves that dropped delicately on the sheets.
“What’s this for?”
“I told you. Seafood.” He smiled at me. Aaron quietly opened his luggage, then pulled out a cream dress shirt and pants in a slightly darker shade.
We dressed up mechanically, and soon enough, we were off with Dan leading the way to an enclosed area of the resort.
“Here we are,” Dan announced, and stepped aside to reveal an intimate dining area set up on the beach, flanked by flowing white curtains. There was a single table at the center, set with fine china and crystal glasses that caught the warm glow of dozens of lit candles.
And when I looked up, I saw a large screen mounted on one of the curtain posts that made me freeze.
There were five words plastered on the screen:
Kitten, will you be my Luna?
When I turned around, Aaron was on one knee, holding a large diamond ring in his hand. “Jane, will you be my Luna? Will you marry me?”

My mouth fell open. Hell, everything stopped moving. Lucky howled excitedly. It’s happening, he’s doing it. He wants us to be his Luna.
“Jane.” Aaron still had one knee planted firmly in the sand. “This is long overdue, if you ask me. I should have asked you the moment I met you. But I had to bide my time when I noticed the ring on your finger.”
“Aaron…”
“You might think this is crazy or that I’m crazy, but…” Aaron laughed, shaking his head. “You make it impossible for me to imagine my life without you. You laugh too loud. You argue with me even when I’m right.” He paused and fixed me with a look. “Especially when I’m right. You’re so strong, loyal, moderately insane, and I love every single part of who you are.”
I could barely see his features now with the tears that clouded my vision. From the corner of my eye, I caught sight of Dan lurking near the palm trees, his phone raised and recording. But I barely registered him because Aaron was still talking, still on his knee in the sand, looking at me like I was his whole world.
“So, what do you say? Will you marry this Alpha who is hopelessly in love with you and make him the happiest wolf in the world?”
Before I could think it through, I dropped to my knees and cupped his face in my hands. I kissed him with everything I had. All the love, passion that I felt for him.
Aaron’s arms came around me immediately, pulling me closer as he kissed me back with equal fervor.
“Is that a yes?”
I laughed.

What a ridiculous question, Lucky howled excitedly. Of course it’s a
yes.
“You could have proposed in bed this morning, you know? You didn’t have to drag me all the way to the Bahamas for this.” I kissed him again, softer this time. In the distance, I could hear Dan whooping with joy, probably getting the whole romantic moment on video.
Lucky was practically purring with satisfaction. It was obvious how much she wanted this.
“Yes,” I whispered against Aaron’s lips. “Yes, you ridiculous, wonderful Alpha. Of course I’ll marry you.”
He slid the ring onto my finger with shaking hands, and it fit like it had been made for me. Which, knowing Aaron, was probably the case.
I flexed my fingers, watching how the diamond glistened against the warm light. It looked to be about 18 karats with a rose gold band.
I threw my arms around Aaron’s neck.
“I love you. I love you so much.”
Dan suddenly appeared beside us, grinning widely. “Congratulations to the lovely couple.”
He nodded once and disappeared. Aaron helped me up and then held my seat out to me.

the dishes on the table.
I dove in immediately. Aaron raised an eyebrow but didn’t comment until I’d finished most of everything and was eyeing his salmon.
“You’re eating like two people tonight,” he noted with a warm smile.
“Well, that’s exactly what I am.” I shrugged.
