The woman eyed the Radiurians in front of her. In a hushed tone, she spoke something in Radiurian to the other two, giving the impression that she was the leader among the trio.
Ryleigh’s subordinates used their identities as officials from Radiuria to try and get the trio to speak.
Upon hearing that the men were from the authorities, everyone, including the previously panicked driver, felt a sense of relief and calmness.
The three were representatives of Upresia’s government. In their view, as long as they disclosed their identities, there wouldn’t be any issues.
After all, even though they were within the borders of Radiuria, their actions had nothing to do with the country itself. Most likely, the authorities would turn a blind eye.
This was pretty much an unspoken rule. As long as it didn’t harm their own country’s interests, they usually wouldn’t meddle in such affairs.
Who would want to make enemies for no reason?
After listening for a while, Noelle was able to essentially determine the identities and intentions of the few individuals.
Unable to extract any useful information, she reached for a steel pipe that was kept in the car. She opened the door and stepped out, ready to squeeze out the last bit of value from those individuals.
Lilah watched Noelle’s actions, her heart racing once again. She had a sinking feeling that her deeds had been exposed.
Ryleigh remained motionless in the car, and out of fear, Lilah dared not move either. She tried her best to curl up into a ball in the corner to make her presence less noticeable.
Noelle, dragging that steel pipe, approached the group. Ryleigh’s subordinates stepped back a few paces to give her some
space.
Noelle said in Upresian, “Tell me everything you know.”
The woman wore an expression of disdain, clearly having no intention of responding. The other two individuals also remained silent.
Noelle gave a somewhat bloodthirsty smile. Noncompliance, huh? That’s just perfect.
Singling out the man, she then brought the steel pipe down on his arm. With a horrific scream, the nearby individuals clearly heard the sound of bones shattering.
The woman, who had initially worn an expression of disdain, suddenly paled. The nearby driver, frightened, went weak in the knees and ended up sitting directly on the ground.
The woman raised her voice in protest, “We are military personnel from Upresia; you have no right to use force on us! I demand to speak with your government.”
Ignoring the incessant ranting of the woman, Noelle continued to swing the steel pipe, this time striking the man’s knee. The sound of breaking bone was even louder, and the man screamed in agony as he fell to the ground.
He shouted, “I’ll talk, I’ll talk!”
The screams were so piercing they could be heard in the car without the need for earphones. Lilah, curled up into a ball, was visibly shaking, her eyes tightly shut as she hugged herself.
Ms. Daines, pay close attention, or you might just lose your eyes,” a chilly voice rang out.
Ryleigh understood the intentions behind Noelle bringing Lilah over. After all, he often employed the same tactic, so naturally, he had to play along.
Lilah was even more frightened, trembling uncontrollably. She didn’t dare to close her eyes again. Ryleigh’s subordinate dragged her to the car window, forcing her to witness the harsh scene outside.

The man was still pleading for mercy.
“Stop hitting me! Please stop hitting me! I’ll tell you whatever you want to know!”
Noelle clicked her tongue.
“Unfortunately, I don’t want to hear what you have to say right now.”

She gestured for someone to gag him and continued beating him up, not stopping until the man’s limbs were all broken.
Having lost consciousness, the man was sprawled on the ground, covered in blood. Noelle went over to check his pulse.
“He sure is tough.”
A look of fear finally appeared on the woman’s face. This time, they had encountered a tough situation.
The other party wasn’t from Radiuria’s government, which meant their transaction had encountered issues this time.
Watching as Noelle approached her, dragging the steel pipe smeared with blood, the woman’s face turned ashen.
“You can’t do this to us! We are guests of the Wheelock family!”
The woman brought up the Wheelock family, attempting to intimidate Noelle. Regardless of whom the other party was, even the Radiurian government had to show some respect to the Wheelock family here.
On the vehicle. Ryleigh heard the woman’s words through his headphones. It seemed that some individuals in the family were restless, daring to meddle in such matters.
Observing the starkly different Noelle outside, an odd sparkle flickered in his eyes. He chuckled silently to himself, thinking how truly lucky Matthew was.
Noelle had someone gag the woman and, just the same, broke her limbs.
The driver, who had been scared to the point of paralysis, suddenly gathered his strength and knelt before Noelle.
“I’ll tell you all I know! Everything!”
Noelle bent over to look at him, causing the man to recoil in fear, his mental defenses already shattered.
He quickly revealed everything he knew. The two individuals Noelle had beaten up earlier were from their nation’s military, responsible for conducting the transaction with Lilah.
Meanwhile, he was dispatched by the government to keep an eye on them. The government and the military had always had a strained relationship, and his mission was to monitor them to prevent any unauthorized appropriation of information.
As for the contents of the information Lilah was trading, they were not permitted to know.
They had a foothold not too far away, provided by the Wheelock family. The original plan was to take Lilah there to establish contact with their superiors.
Having gathered a decent understanding of the situation, Noelle ordered for the trio to be loaded into the car again.
