I quickly shook my head. “No, I’m good,” I said and tried to get out of bed. I promised myself to try and ignore the pain.
However, I gave out a deep sigh and grabbed onto the wall when I stepped down. I almost fell.
And to my shock, Tony rushed towards me. He lifted me in his arms and began walking towards the bathroom.

I pouted. Why was he treating me like a child? I knew what was good for me.
Tony’s POV
I sighed when I left the room. My body was reacting again. “What the hell did you give me?” Lasked.
I didn’t understand why just a little interaction with her would make me like that.
I took a deep breath and went back to my room. I needed to calm myself down.
However, at the same time, my phone rang. Seeing that it was Ben, I picked it up. “What do you want?” I asked.
Ben scoffed on the other side. “We had an appointment tomorrow but I won’t be around. L.”
“I don’t need your services anymore. I’m fine,” I replied. I had been going to him all this time yet it appeared that I was fine.

I didn’t answer him. “You can tell my grandpa that I’m fine. He shouldn’t force me to see you anymore.” I said.

“Find something important to do.” I said and hung up. A smile appeared on my face. I only had one goal left.
Kelly’s POV
I soaked in the tub for a while and my body relaxed a bit. When I got out. I was feeling a little better.
I put on fresh clothes and walked downstairs. And just like I had thought, he was waiting at the dining table.
He looked at me briefly before sipping on his milk. I hesitated before walking to the dining table.
I was super hungry. I had barely eaten the previous day.
I ate quietly, but I could tell that Tony kept looking at me from time to time. I was not at ease.
“So, the kid who is he? I know he is not your son,” he suddenly spoke.
I choked on my milk. I coughed awkwardly.
Of course, I wouldn’t have a son. I was too young.

care.” I said.
I felt stupid after saying that. Even though I had spent some time with Adam, I didn’t know a lot of things about his past.
“Ooh.” Tony replied and continued eating. It didn’t seem like a big deal to him.
I swallowed hard and looked at him. I felt nervous and licked my lips. “Um… do you know where he is?” I asked.
Tony was silent for a while before shaking his head. “Nope

Tony put his glass down and leaned closer to me. “What do I get in return? I don’t run charity.” he said
“What?” I was so shocked. Maybe I had gotten so close to him and forgotten who he was. So heartless
“Think about what you can offer,” he said and stood up
I watched in disappointment as he put on his coat and began walking away
I put my glass down and began walking after him. I was still his guard after all. No matter how mad I felt, I still had to follow
him

I swallowed hard. I just wanted to find the kid. It wasn’t a big deal for him. Why couldn’t he just help?
*Ill go looking for him myself then,” I said, tears welling in my eyes. I didn’t need anyone’s help.
However, I had just turned around when he grabbed my hand. He did it so forcefully that I lost my balance.
“Aah!” I screamed when I hit my head on his chest. It was as hard as hell.
“You seem to have forgotten your place, Little Girl.” he said coldly. And I shuddered.
I had forgotten my place. Just because he had slept with me didn’t mean that we were close.
I nodded my head and looked at the floor. “I’m sorry.” I said. “That won’t repeat again.”
Tony stared at me coldly for a second. “It better not,” he said. “Because in my territory, I give orders, and they are followed”
I nodded again. “That’s why I’m resigning.” I said in a very low voice. But he heard it.
