“Honey… uh, Jason…”
His fingers suddenly stopped.
The desire in Ethan’s eyes quickly receded as rationality took over.
He placed me in the bathtub, washed me clean, then dried me off with a towel and carried me back to bed.
Then I heard the room door open and close. The room fell silent, and I slowly opened my eyes.
I lifted the covers and looked down at my sore waist, where two clear finger marks remained.
Remembering how Jason said Ethan had been celibate for years, I could now confirm that.
But what’s the point of getting him so quickly?
I hugged the blanket and slept quietly in the hotel until early the next morning, when I felt something moving behind
I opened my eyes to find Jason gently pulling me into his arms from behind.
I pushed him away without reacting, but he immediately clung to me again, looking pitiful..
“Honey, I’m sorry. Punish me however you want.”
I turned my head to look at him, strangely noticing that the number above his head was still 29.
Tiffany didn’t succeed last night?
- me.
“Why would I be mad at you?” I sat up, pushing him away. “You had urgent work, and you even asked Uncle Ethan to take care of me.”
I was certain he wouldn’t dare entrust me to his unreliable friends, and Jason didn’t disappoint me.
“Really? You’re really not angry?” Jason looked at me with bright eyes.
“I’m not angry.”
Jason clung to me again from behind. “I knew my Aria was the best.”
He gently kissed my earlobe, but I pushed him away.
“Honey, you haven’t touched me in so long…” Jason complained pitifully.
“It’s getting late. My phone broke and I haven’t called in sick for work yet. I need to go back.”
“Ta–da!” Jason held up a shopping bag. “I already prepared everything for my honey!”

Inside were new clothes and a new phone.
I patted Jason’s head approvingly, put my SIM card in the new phone, and called in sick for two hours.
As we left the room after changing clothes, we ran into Ethan, who was also checking out.
Jason held my hand, smiling as he thanked Ethan.
“Uncle Ethan, thank you so much for yesterday!”
He didn’t know why, but his usually cold uncle had unexpectedly agreed to his request. He originally hadn’t been hopeful.
Ethan’s gaze lingered for a second on our clasped hands before quickly looking away, focusing on Jason instead.
“Don’t let this happen again.”
It wasn’t clear if he was speaking to Jason or to me.
“I know! Next time Grandpa tries to set you up on a blind date, I’ll definitely help you refuse.”
Ethan absently replied “Mm,” and the three of us entered the elevator together. Jason was still chattering away, but I found the atmosphere very awkward.
In the hotel lobby, while Jason went to get the car, I carefully tugged on Ethan’s sleeve.
“Uncle Ethan, about last night, could you…”
I lowered my head, blushing from my forehead to the soles of my feet.
“I won’t say anything.”
Ethan replied, and I let out a sigh of relief.
Soon, Jason pulled up with the car, and Ethan’s driver brought his car around too. We each got into our respective vehicles and left the hotel.
Before long, it was the day of Ethan’s birthday party.
After getting home from work, I took the rare step of dressing up, putting on a sexy, form–fitting dress I rarely wore. Jason leaned against the closet door watching me, his eyes brightening.
“Honey, why are you dressed so maturely today?”
“Isn’t it to make you look good?” I replied absent–mindedly while curling my hair. “You’re always saying I dress too conservatively.”
“It’s not conservative.”
Jason hugged me from behind. “I just don’t want other people looking at you.”
“Alright, we should get going,” I said.
