Chapter 5 Compromise
I took a deep breath. Since he wanted a chance, I crossed my arms and put some distance between us. “Fine, explain yourself. Let’s see if you can spin this in your favor. Did you give Lorelei that ring?”

“And you!” I looked at Christopher. “You confess that you gave Lorelei that ring. You knew that was my collection, and it represents our third–year anniversary! I was going to make some jewelry and sleeve buttons out of it, but you ruined it.”
Furious, I grabbed Sophia’s hand tightly. “I’m getting a divorce. What about you, Sophia?”
