Chapter 4 Taken Away
And I was caught immediately. “Where are you going, honey?”
“I can’t believe you, Sophia!” Charlie grabbed Sophia. Naturally, Christopher was holding me.
The Lawson brothers were here. Mr. Quincy tried to come to our aid, but they bought him over with money. The club owner and his bodyguards left. I was struggling the whole way, and I was sobering up.
They took us back to the villa, and to my horror, they easily cracked the passcode. “What are you doing?”
Charlie told Christopher, “You deal with your wife, while I deal with mine.”
He was going to take Sophia upstairs, and I panicked. “Let Sophia go!”
Christopher pulled me back. “I think you should worry about yourself first.” He dragged me to a room upstairs, but I shoved him away.
“I have nothing to say to you. I’m dead, and we’re done! I’m the owner of a bed and breakfast, while you are trespassing on my property!”
He laughed mirthlessly and untied his necktie with one hand. Shit, how could someone be so hot?
I could see the fire in his eyes when he looked at me, and he got closer to me. He put a hand on the wall and raised my chin. Then, he kissed me.
