I stared coldly at Yeshua and said firmly, “Of course I know what I’m saying.”
“And more importantly–whether I’m married or not has nothing to do with you.“>
I met his eyes with an unwavering resolve. “Now, let me go.”@
But Yeshua had no intention of letting me leave. He gripped my wrist tighter, holding me in place with force that bordered on violence.
I struggled to break free, but his grasp only grew more painful.
“Julianna, I know exactly what you’re doing,” he sneered. “You’re just trying to make me angry. Don’t you think this little act of yours is childish?”
“You left my house just yesterday. Don’t tell me you had time to get married between then and now.“>
He leaned in with a mocking smile. “And who could you have possibly married?“}
“I’ve already given you enough face, Julianna. Now stop this nonsense, put on the wedding dress, and walk down the aisle. Our relatives and friends are all here–don’t let any of them wait any longer!”
His words made my blood run cold.
I looked him dead in the eyes. “Yeshua, I’m telling you one last time. I am really married. Let me go!“>
His expression hardened.”
“Enough, Julianna. Look at yourself–who do you think you are?”
“You’re just an orphan. If I don’t marry you, who else would?”
“Now put on the dress!”
“And once you’re married into our family,” Heidi chimed in from behind him, “you just need to focus on being a good wife to Yeshua. As for other things, no need to overwork that little head of yours.”
I turned and stared at her, stunned for a moment–but then, I understood.)
I narrowed my eyes and turned back to Yeshua.
“If you’re so serious on marrying me, are you willing to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau and register our marriage?”
My voice was sharp and unrelenting.
That made Yeshua visibly uncomfortable while Heidi couldn’t hide the smug look on her face.
That’s when the truth hit me.
They’d already cornered me.
My heart turned cold.
Yeshua had registered his marriage with Heidi yesterday–but today, he from my “prosperous wife fate.”

He saw the change in my expression and said stiffly, “Heidi is the one I love. If you truly love me, then you should be able to accept all of me—including her.”
“I don’t love you, Yeshua,” I said icily. “And I have no intention of marrying you.”
“I told you–I’m already married.”
“This wedding you’re throwing today? The bride should be Heidi, not me.”
Yeshua’s face twisted with rage. “Married? You keep claiming that–but who, aside from me, would ever want you?!“D
Before I could respond, a familiar, arrogant voice rang out behind me.
“That would be me, of course.”
It was Harold.
I turned as he strode into the venue, flanked by several bodyguards.
The moment Yeshua saw him, his expression turned ice–cold.
He glanced at Harold, then back at me–suddenly, his fury exploded. Smack!!
He slapped me–hard and fast.
The force of it threw my head to the side, and I let out a cry of pain.
“You shameless woman!” he roared. “I should’ve known you were in bed with Harold!”
Before I could even react, Harold’s expression darkened.
Without hesitation, he gave the order to his men.
“Teach him a lesson.”
In an instant, his guards surged forward, pinning Yeshua down and delivering a brutal beating. While chaos broke out behind us, Harold rushed to my side, his face tense with concern.
