On the way back, I coughed up some blood again.
I could feel my life “quickly fading away.”
The phone rang at that moment.
It was a call from a fellow patient.
Her name was Ruth Jones, and she was just like her name – very optimistic and cheerful.

I interrupted Colin with a slap, his bangs falling in front of his eyes.
“Colin, don’t gross me out.”
I got on the car.
But little did they know, as soon as the car arrived at the hotel, Benjamin and Lillian somehow got wind of it and rushed over.
As soon as he saw me, he came running over and slapped me.
“Bitch! You dare to come back? Selena is missing, and you’re here having an affair with a man. Have you no shame?!”
I was slapped so hard that everything went black in front of my eyes, and blood started pouring out of my nose, more and more.
Ruth’s fiancé tried to help me, but he got caught up by Benjamin and ended up yelling in frustration.

Lillian was still angry after slapping me, so she grabbed my hair and yanked off my wig, revealing my sparse scalp.

Colin didn’t know when he also showed up.
