I paused for a moment, then realized that the phone call I just received. wasn’t a dream.

breathe.
“Good job! Yesterday you called me disgusting, and today you dare to mess with me? Naomi, you’re looking pretty good now!”
“Since that’s the case, I’ll just gross you out completely!”
His ice–cold lips on my neck felt like a poisonous snake slithering across my skin, sending shivers down my spine. Colin’s big hands were all over me, and I struggled desperately.

“Colin, you jerk! Let me go!”
He tightly gripped my legs, his tone full of madness.
“Naomi, you messed things up, why can’t you just apologize? Why can’t you learn to back down?”
In the dim room, I remembered that dark alley three years ago, and fear hit me like a tidal wave.
I bit my lip hard and couldn’t make a sound, until a phone rang.
It was Selena calling.
Colin hesitated for a moment, then picked it up.
Selena’s panicked voice came through the receiver, “Colin! My stomach hurts so bad, you need to take me to the hospital!”
“Oh! It seems like I’m spotting…”

“Wait for me!”
Colin hurriedly grabbed his coat, slammed the door, and didn’t even look
at me.
The cold wind blew in through the window, and I struggled to get up.
