Celestina’s Povl
“Celestina, please I’m sorry, you have to forgive me. You are the only family I have left.” My father’s eyes were swollen and red rimmed from crying he looked like a broken and devastated man.”
Jason sat there staring at me mute with sorrow and shame.N
“Mr Brown, I don’t even know if I can call you Dad. I have forgiven you for myself, so I can move on. You’re the reason my mother is dead; I don’t think I can ever move past that and have a relationship with you.”
“But I’m your father…”
“Shut up.” I say sharply, “You were never a father to me. All you cared about was Angela, Alexandrian, and money.”
I remained cold and unaffected even as my Dad tried explaining how he was manipulated and his health detoriated because he was excessively drinking and neglecting his health because of me.”
“My decision is final, I’m never letting you back into my new life. And get this, you are not my only family; I have Baron and his lovely family. My baby would know them to their only grandparents, not you.”
My father winced in pain and said with sadness, “I’ll accept your decision, I don’t want to be troubled anymore. Just know that I’m sorry for everything.”
Jason looked upset. I had mentioned my baby. He clenched the table, his knuckles white, “You’re being brainwashed by Baron. Do you think any responsible man would let you cut off ties with people that love you? I searched for you non stop when you were missing.“}]
Baron started to say something beside me but I held his hand, I had to put Jason in his place once and got all.”
“Baron is a responsible man, and yes I’ll rather be brainwashed if that’s what you call it than be manipulated by you, you got my sister and wanted to lock me in an asylum remember?”
He dropped his eyes in shame, I stood up and Baron with me.
“Never in your lives contact me, I’m getting a restraining order against you two. Do not tresspass new my property either. Have a good life, from now on your both dead to me.”
Jason’s face turned pale hearing this, he tried to stop me but the guards held him as he kicked and screamed. “Celestina I’ll love you forever, please come back to me. Regardless of the baby, I don’t mind raising him as mine.”}
Before I could stop Baron he turned went through the guards and knocked him out, “I warned you to never speak about my wife or my baby. How dare you say you’ll raise my own child!“}
My father gasped.
Not wanting Baron to get into trouble I pulled him away, “please let’s go, don’t let him reel you up.” But secretly I felt happy he had done that, at least now Jason knows better than to mess with us.
Jason’s Pov
I wiped my bloody nose, “Damn that stupid Baron!” I say in rage.§
Mr Brown just stares at me expressionless, “I think you should give up on getting back with Celestina. Besides, she’s really happy with Baron; I want the best for my daughter. ”
! look at him in disgust, “Stop trying to play the good father now, and Celestina still wants me. That man is the problem. “I say almost screaming.
I had to do something drastic; it was obvious I was now on my own. Mr Brown had given up on trying to get his daughter back but I won’t. “You disgust me., I say in his face and leave the room. The wedding is in a few days, so I have to take the most drastic measures. I can’t let Celestina go, especially now that she has become a powerful millionaire.
Getting home, I dress my bruises and take a hot shower, an idea suddenly pops into my head, and I grin wickedly.§
Now out of the shower, I sent a text to a hit man whom a friend had recommended. He confirms the address and I send the payment.” Tonight, I slept with a wide smile on my face; tomorrow would be the end of Baron being a nuisance in my life. Celestina would be mine and mine alone.”
I woke up the next day stretching out my sore muscles. Today was my birthday and Baron’s death would be my perfect birthday gift. My phone beeps and I check to see!
My hit man sends me a message,‘ Currently trailing target, he is out getting flowers for his fiance. I’ll send you a picture when the job is done.
1 reacted to the message with a thumbs up and drank a bottle of champagne, awaiting the news that would send Celestina running into my arms again.
