There was an icy look in Silas‘ eyes.
“Didn’t you throw Amara’s ashes away already? Why are you coming to me?”
Jasper suppressed his temper. “I checked the surveillance footage at the funeral parlor. You were the one who came and took
Amara’s ashes. Hurry up and give her back to me!”
Silas dropped the act. “You were the one who spilled her ashes, and you even humiliated her and trampled her. I was the one who scooped up Amara’s ashes little by little. You have no right to take her away!”
Jasper completely lost his rationality and pulled out his gun. He pointed it at Silas.
“I told you to give her back to me!”
“Put the gun down!”
The policemen around them weren’t pushovers. They all pulled out their guns and pointed them at Jasper.
The members of the mafia also pulled out their guns to fight against the police when they saw that there were guns aimed at Jasper
Silas wasn’t afraid at all. He didn’t even look at Jasper again before turning to leave.
Jasper kicked a table over in his fury. He watched Silas leave with an icy look in his eyes.

Chapter 9
I turned and glanced at Jasper.
If it had been me in the past, I would have been touched by what Jasper had done.
However, I was now dead.
That was why I felt nothing despite what Jasper had done for me.
Therefore, I turned and ran after Silas.
Silas immediately began his investigations after taking Rosie to the police station.

The strange thing was that there were no difficulties with the investigation at all. It progressed very smoothly with Jasper’s
cooperation.
Soon, Rosie was convicted of murder.
When the sentence was announced, I saw a tear slip out of the corner of Silas‘ eye.
“Amara, I wish you could have seen this. I told you that I would make them pay the price.”
Silas didn’t have to blame himself. I had seen everything.
I thought that things would keep progressing smoothly.
However, right before Rosie was put in prison, Jasper suddenly bribed the police station so that he could take Rosie away.
