“Mister, we’ve confirmed that Ms. Amara’s ashes were handed over to you. You even signed. If I remember correctly, you opened
the urn yourself and spilled the ashes out. Since it was handed over to you, we no longer bear any responsibility for it. If you’ve
forgotten, we have surveillance footage here that’s taken from every angle.”
Jasper had realized that those had been my ashes, but he just could not bring himself to believe that he had scattered my ashes
himself.
Unusually, Jasper did not punish the staff member for his attitude. Since he had confirmed that he could no longer find my ashes,
he fled the funeral parlor.
Jasper remained silent on the journey. He just drove all the way to the peak of a mountain. That was where our secret hideaway
was located.
Jasper smoked quietly. I had no idea what he was thinking.
In the darkness, I saw that his eyes had reddened slightly. Soon, Jasper rubbed his face, and his impassive expression was
restored.
1 laughed self–deprecatingly. I must have been mistaken. Jasper would never shed tears for me.
He must have been delighted that I was dead
Rosie kept calling, but Jasper did not answer. He seemed annoyed by the noise and turned his phone off. He sat there for the
entire night and did not sleep a wink

As soon as dawn broke the next day, Jasper gathered himself and hid his weak side. He turned on his phone.
He only glanced at it slightly, but his blood boiled at once.
Naked photos of me had been spread all over the Internet, and everyone was criticizing me.
“Is that the woman who was in a threesome one night stand and ended up getting gangbanged so badly that she was torn apart down there?”
“She looks so slutty, like the kind of woman who can’t live without men. She deserved it!”
“Your news is outdated. The woman in the photo, Amara, is already dead. They suspect that she couldn’t change her bad habits and kept seducing men. She ended up dying in bed in the midst of an orgy.”
Jasper was extremely emotional when he saw the naked photos.
He remembered those photos. When Rosie had first gotten injured, Jasper had wanted revenge. He had sent people to tear my clothes off and take those photos, just to make Rosie happy.
However, he clearly remembered telling them to delete the photos. Why had they been put on the Internet?
Jasper was enraged, and he immediately called Antonia Ballard, the Consigliere, to subject him to a harsh scolding.
“What’s going on with Amara’s photos on the Internet? Who posted them? Delete them, hurry!”
Antonio sounded very wronged. “I called you yesterday and sent many messages. The information about a mafia member was exposed, and I wanted to ask if we should erase it, but you didn’t answer. After that, I couldn’t get through to your phone anymore. I thought you did it on purpose to punish Ms.
Amara…”
