Silas clearly did not believe that I had died in an accident.
The night that I’d called Silas, Rosie had come to see me. She told me to pack my things and leave the villa, because Jasper did not
want to see me anymore.
When I reached the villa, Jasper was nowhere to be seen. I was tricked by Rosie into going to the underground wine cellar.
Rosie pushed me hard from behind, and I fell into the abandoned, cramped underground wine cellar.
Rosie locked the door immediately, and she did not relent, no matter how much I banged on the door.
“Just wait and die here. This cold, damp space underground is the place you’re meant to be!”
There was not a single shred of light in the wine cellar. It was dark and completely sealed off.
I screamed in fear and pleaded, “Rosie, let me out! You lied to me! Please open the door! I’m very sorry about what happened to you, but I really didn’t do it! You have to believe me!”
Rosie’s scornful laugh came from outside. “Of course you didn’t do it. Those dumb men just didn’t know how to rein things in. I only agreed to do it once with them, but they ended up getting me sent to the hospital. I even got accidentally pregnant. However, it was really satisfying, and I even managed to blame all of this on you. Getting Jasper to hate you makes it worth it.”
I had never imagined that it was Rosie who had framed me!
She had always made herself out to be the victim. Even I had believed that she was innocent, and I had kept trying to explain that I
hadn’t done those things.

“Please, let me out… I’m pregnant! There’s a child in my womb!”
My cries for help and my pleading did not make Rosie change her mind. She left me alone in the underground cellar and
dismissed all the staff in the villa.

The villa was huge, and the underground cellar was deep inside it. Even if I screamed with all my might, no passersby would be
able to hear me.
For the next few days, no matter how much I shouted for help, no one came to rescue me.
I knew very well that I would die there.
The oxygen was getting thinner, and the only sound I could hear was the quickening of my own heartbeat.
Right before I suffocated, I raised my hands with difficulty and held my stomach, but I could no longer feel the life that had been
connected with me.
I wept in grief.

I died in abject terror and despair, and became a putrid corpse.
My corpse was only discovered when a bunch of thieves snuck into the villa and stumbled upon the wine cellar. They thought
there was treasure inside and prised it open.
A phone call broke the silence between Jasper and Silas.
Jasper looked conflicted when he saw the caller ID.
“Don Shaw? Will you come with me tomorrow to take wedding photos? I want to become the most beautiful bride.”
Jasper hesitated, but in the end, he sighed deeply and refused Rosie’s request for the first time.
