Chapter 10
Luna finally had time to eat.
She stabbed the steak with a fork forcefully, “Scumbag! Don’t let me see him again, I’ll hit him every time I see him!”
I thought as long as I didn’t show up, Keaton wouldn’t find me.
I couldn’t believe it was him when he appeared in front of me a month later.
Once a handsome man, now he is marked by prominent collarbones and cheekbones, sunken eye sockets, and a deathly pale complexion.
The once lush hair has become thin and sparse.
He saw me and habitually went to pull my hair.
I immediately pulled out a handful of hair at my fingertips, and surprisingly, the amount of hair loss was more than what I usually lose in a week.
I thought he had contracted some kind of illness, so I quickly stepped back.
He realized what he had done and quickly threw away the hair in his hand, staring at me with shining eyes.
Feeling his gaze tracing my outline, I turned around in disgust and walked away.
“Sariah… I finally found you. Do you know how I spent this past month? If I don’t see you again, I really can’t go on living!”
“Why are you so heartless, saying you’ll just abandon me…”
He was extremely aggrieved.
Eagerly wanted to hold my hand.
I pushed him away, took a step back, and bumped into Luna, who was holding a cup of milk tea.
She looked up and saw Keaton, and immediately handed me the milk tea.
He immediately rolled up his sleeves and started looking for a handy tool.
Keaton, however, seemed oblivious and kept smiling at me foolishly, saying, “Sariah, you look even more beautiful than before! I miss you so much, it hurts my heart. If you don’t believe me,
touch it…”
Chapter 10
Luna was extremely anxious and picked up the glass next to her, forcefully smashing it on the back of the hand, saying, “I told you to touch it!”
Without any tools, Luna went in directly with her bare hands.
I was afraid that Keaton would retaliate, so I quickly stopped Luna.
Keaton, however, knelt before me again, “Sariah, hit me! Both of you can hit me together, as long as it helps you vent, anything is fine!”
“Sariah, go find a tool, don’t foolishly use your hands to hit, if your hands get hurt, I will feel heartbroken!”
He sincerely asked me to hit him in order to seek psychological liberation.
But why should I dirty my hands to make him happy?
“Keaton, I have already ended things with you, please leave me alone!”
He didn’t believe that I didn’t love him anymore, desperately swearing at me, even kneeling on broken glass without feeling the pain and bleeding all over the floor.
“Sariah, Margaret dared to challenge you, and I escorted her back home. Her father then sold her to a sixty–year–old man for profit. She will never be able to bully you again in the future!”
“I have cut off all ties with Theodore and his gang of friends. I promise to wholeheartedly cherish our beautiful days together in the future…”
Unfortunately, I will never trust him again.
I will never forget the way he coldly rebuked me.
I didn’t want to think about it anymore, the passionate scenes between him and other women.
Everything should come to a complete end with my departure.
I pulled Luna aside and left him. He crawled on his hands and feet to my feet, tightly holding onto the hem of my pants and crying in pain, “Sariah, please, don’t leave me, okay? I will never betray you again in this lifetime. I know my mistakes are unforgivable, but I have always loved you from the beginning to the end. I have never thought of marrying someone else!”
I couldn’t pull my foot out, and Luna, in her impatience, went straight to grab a chair and smash it.
Keaton did not dodge either. He endured it forcefully, even though he spat out a mouthful of blood, he did not let go.
Chapter 10
1 felt extremely bored.
When Luna tried to hit him again, I didn’t want to cause any harm, so I intervened and stopped her.
His eyes lit up with hope again, “Sariah, I knew you still loved me, you couldn’t bear to see me get
hurt…”
“Keaton, I was very happy after leaving you. Please don’t disgust me and ruin my happiness anymore, okay?”
“Consider it a favor I’m asking you!”
I finished speaking and looked straight down at him.
And he just lifted his gaze for a moment, but immediately lowered his head and dared not look at me after seeing the emotionless expression in my eyes.
He finally let go of his hand.
“Okay…”
He exhausted all his strength to write this word.
After speaking, the person collapsed on the ground, sobbing and crying.
Causing others to gather and watch.
Luna was afraid that others wouldn’t know who he was, so he shouted to proclaim that he was the “toxic man” who had been popular all over the internet recently.
Everyone immediately cursed him, saying he deserved it.
Luna and I left without looking back.
Someone couldn’t help but ask him, “If only we had known earlier, why did we do it in the first place?”
He didn’t even dare to cry.
Just looking up, he murmured to my back, “Sariah, I’m sorry…”
He didn’t know, I didn’t need to say sorry, I just needed to live up to it.
