Chapter 8
At that moment, my phone received a text message notification.
It was me who sent the package to Keaton, and it has already been delivered.
As the courier moved closer and closer to the banquet hall, I couldn’t help but become more and
more excited.
Little did Margaret know that Keaton came back to marry her only to use her as a tool, and she
immediately refused.
She cried, made a scene, and threatened to hang herself, insisting on completing the wedding.
She still identified herself as Mrs. Gibson.
Theodore and his companions immediately dragged Margaret out of the center of the stage.
Keaton knelt in front of the camera and passionately shouted, “Sariah, you must be watching me, right? I know everything that the alter ego did. I never expected him to be so despicable, to hurt you so deeply. But my primary personality is innocent, I didn’t mean to hurt you like this!”
“I was kidnapped when I went to pick up the wedding dress, and I was almost killed. In my mind, all I could think of was that I must not die, I have to come back alive to marry you!”
“I loved you so much that I would unleash my alter ego when my life was hanging by a thread. The doctor said that my alter ego was smarter and braver, which is why I managed to escape death!”
If I hadn’t heard the truth with my ears, I would have believed his nonsense.
After all, when the doctor told me, I was fortunate that his alter ego was unrestrained, witty, and brave.
But I never expected that the so–called wit and bravery would be used against me!
I grabbed Luna, who was still picking at the public screen, and said, “Stop scolding, I’m afraid you’ll scold him too much!”
“If he truly had even the slightest affection for me, he might have been in pain later.”
Luna didn’t believe it.
I didn’t believe it either.
But a betrayed heart, in the end, needs to do something to find solace.
Chapter 8
The deliveryman finally appeared in the banquet hall, just a stone’s throw away from Keaton.
He shouted at the crowd, who were discussing heatedly, “Who is Keaton? Your delivery is here!”
At this moment, Keaton, who was deeply repentant, didn’t want to deal with the delivery at all.
Theodore ran over to help him sign, but the deliveryman shook his head, “This is sent by Ms. Sariah for Keaton, he must sign it himself!”
When Keaton heard that it was from me, he immediately jumped up and even reminded the
cameraman to switch angles.
He signed for the delivery, with a big smile on his face.
He, who used to be all smiles, gradually merged with him who once hugged me in tears of joy when he successfully proposed to me.
But I knew clearly that he was no longer the man who was completely devoted to me.
Our love had long disappeared in my self–righteousness.
Keaton excitedly shouted at the camera, “Sariah, I knew you wouldn’t just disappear without a word. This must be the gift you prepared for our wedding, right?”
“Everyone quickly helped to scrape the screen and send blessings; I will show you the surprise right away!”
Luna and their criticism were immediately overwhelmed by various blessings.
Keaton looked satisfied as he watched the popularity of the live stream, raising the delivery and shouting, “Everyone’s blessings louder, more passionately, I want to let the whole internet know, I love Sariah!”
The popularity of the live broadcast room soared, and unaware strangers also flocked in to send their blessings.
Keaton looked deeply into the camera and asked me, “Sariah, did you see? My love for you is undeniable. Please tell me where you are, I will come to pick you up as soon as I finish unpacking the delivery!”
He opened the package and took out a glass bottle first.
In the transparent glass, the shapeless embryonic tissue appeared particularly eerie.
The guests in the front row were all filled with doubt and astonishment.

Still an obstetrician and gynecologist, he was the first to speak up, “Isn’t this just undeveloped embryonic tissue?”
As her words fell, Keaton also took out a piece of paper.
He stared at the abortion notice with wide eyes, his body trembling uncontrollably.
