Chapter 4
“Lock her up in the inner toilet.”
“Find two waiters to clean up the urine stains on the carpet, it looks disgusting.”
Two low–ranking lackeys grabbed my arms and dragged me into one of the compartments in the
box, specifically a restroom.
I shouted for help to everyone present.
“Call 911, please, please help me call 911…‘

The girl who accompanies the drinking is a little worried and speaks softly.
“Mr. Strickland, she looked very uncomfortable. Maybe it’s better to let her go, after all, she is
pregnant.”
Brogan grabbed the little girl’s hair and slapped her.
“What gives you the right to question my buddy’s decision?”
The little girl dared not speak anymore. She forced a smile with a stiff face.
A few more mature hostesses laughed.
“Sister, you were young, these are all tactics used by those mistresses to control men. Whether you believe it or not, if Mr. Strickland were to take her home, she would immediately be full of energy
again.”
Elaina was extremely proud and pretended to persuade me.
“Tiara, Lawson did it for your good too. He made you stay in the bathroom to clean up and avoid embarrassing yourself.”
Elaina twisted her graceful waist and sat back on Lawson’s lap. She glanced back at me and started boasting silently.
“You lost.”
Outside the door, there was singing and dancing, while inside the door, I was left alone in misery
and desolation.
I sat on the cold floor leaning against the wall, exerting all my strength to pound on the door.
“Help me…”

The door was closed, and my already weak cry for help was also cut off.
Like being pierced by countless iron nails, I recalled the courses at the maternity school.
The intervals of contractions became shorter and shorter, and I slowly adjusted my breathing,
hoping to rely on myself to safely deliver the baby.
Calm down, Tiara, you could do it.
The baby needed you.
Tears and sweat intertwined, and the throat shouted until it was almost hoarse.
The lower abdomen felt as if it had been torn apart, and the air was filled with a heavy smell of
blood.
I don’t know how long it had been, but the situation was getting worse and worse.
It hurts… The child wouldn’t come out.
I was panicked and scared, gritting my teeth as I felt the blood beneath me.
Trembling, I wrote on the frosted glass door of the toilet with his finger.
“SOS”
To attract the attention of people outside, I slapped several bloody handprints on the door.
The person who had just come out of the neighboring toilet was startled and shouted.
“Lawson, something terrible has happened.”
“The toilet door was covered in blood stains. Tiara might be going into labor.”
When I heard someone notice something unusual, hope ignited in my
heart.
Baby, hold on.
Drunk and tipsy, Lawson sneered.
“What bloodstains? She must have secretly brought a bottle of red wine in. The child is only seven months old, how could it be born so quickly? Ignore her.”
The man was a little afraid to continue persuading.
“Lawson, maybe we should open the door and take a look. It’s better to be safe than sorry.”

Lawson didn’t care at all, Elaina in his arms cooed softly.
“Tiara had played this game before and insisted on Lawson firing me. You don’t understand her, she was just upset that Lawson didn’t accompany her for New Year’s Eve!”
The people outside the door no longer persisted, and the radiance in my eyes dimmed little by little.
The pain that came from my belly brought me back to my senses.
No, I couldn’t give up.
Baby, Mom will save you.
I took off my coat and used my finger to dip it in blood, writing down a distress message on it.
I struggled to climb up the toilet and, with great effort, pushed open the ventilation window above to throw my coat downstairs.
But the intense pain made it impossible for me to straighten my back, and my clothes got stuck in
the window.
My lips were bitten and I finally threw the clothes down.
Just at that moment, my feet slipped and I fell backward.
There was a loud bang.
The loud noise caught the attention of people outside the door.
Everything went black before my eyes, and I faintly heard Lawson’s voice.
“Tiara…”
