Lawson’s expression was displeased, with a hint of reproach.
“How did you come here? Didn’t I tell you to stay at home and take good care of yourself?”
It felt like my heart was pricked by thousands of needles.
I couldn’t believe that the man who was once excited and helped me set up the nursery for our bal was now protecting another woman and speaking ill of me.
Tears slid down my cheeks as I tightly pursed my lips before speaking
“Lawson, you said that those who betray will not have a good death.”
Lawson’s face looked unpleasant.
“Tiara, show a little respect. Elaina and I were just fooling around. After you got pregnant, you got as fat as a pig. I’ve already done enough by sleeping next to you despite feeling nauseous.”
“Besides, in our circle, who isn’t polygamous? At least I still plan to return to the family after you give birth.”
I touched my belly and felt a surge of sadness and anger in my hart.
After getting pregnant, I inevitably gained weight and experienced edema. My legs swelled up like
carrots.
In the middle of the night, my leg cramped up and I couldn’t sleep all night due to morning
sickness.
The originally fair and delicate skin gradually became rough and waxed yellow.
Lawson went from feeling sorry to becoming impatient from the beginning and worked overtime at the company every day.
Especially when he saw the ugly stretch marks on my stomach, his face became inconspicuous and disgust appeared in his eyes.
For the sake of the child, I pretended not to see his changes.

Lawson’s haughty expression froze instantly, his tone carrying an undeniable certainty.
“Where can you go after divorcing me while carrying my child? As long as you two get along harmoniously, Mrs. Strickland’s position will always be yours.”
Seeing my distressed expression, Lawson softened his tone.
“Be obedient and do as you’re told, and I guarantee that the children of the Strickland family will only come out from your belly.”
Elaina twisted her waist and said discontentedly, “Lawson, don’t make Tiara angry because of me.
She is still carrying your child!”
Lawson pinched Elaina’s slender waist.
“Every woman goes through pregnancy, but she’s the only one acting all moody about it.”
Watching the shameless flirting between the couple in front of me, I couldn’t help but start convulsing and feeling nauseous.

She turned red–eyed, took off her coat, and cursed.
“You jerk, were you doing it on purpose?”
I was burning with anger and slapped her across the face.
“Who is the scoundrel talking?”
She was furious and pushed me hard.
“Lawson, you had to stand up for me. The New Year’s battle robe you gave me was all smelly!”
The waiter brought hot towels to clean the stains for them, Lawson warned me.

I was pushed off balance, and my heavy body fell heavily to the ground.
Bulky in the figure, I struggled comically to try to get up.
The people present laughed and joked.
“Lawson, does Tiara crawling look like a turtle unable to get up?”
