Chapter 11 Completely Naked
Charlotte immediately accepted the money transfer request, still in disbelief at what Thomas had typed out.
Seeing that Charlotte accepted the money. Thomas said nothing more.
Soon, a time emerged on the screen of Charlotte’s phone, and she took note of it. It was after work hours, which seemed reasonable.
The address Thomas shared was located in an upscale district of Javerton. Like the Eldridge Residence’s district, this district was a place for the richest in the city. It was developed by the Zimmerman Group. Any random villa here would be worth eight figures.
It was clear how powerful Thomas was, so it wasn’t surprising for him to live in such a place. He could compel Richard to come and apologize to her humbly and respectfully.
Thinking about this, Charlotte was in a much better mood that she carried out her drawings more smoothly too. When it was time to leave work, she shut down her computer without hesitation and left. She took a taxi to the address Thomas had given her. She arrived at exactly 7:00 PM.
Charlotte pressed the doorbell at the villa entrance.
Thomas’s voice emerged from the intercom. “The password is 180906. Let yourself in. I’m on the second floor.”
Charlotte stared at the entrance awkwardly as Thomas didn’t speak after that. Thomas himself really wasn’t worried about her being up to no good in his house. Charlotte quickly entered the password, and the door to the villa was opened.
Charlotte only wanted to get her earring back. She had no other plans in mind. Soon, she stepped inside the villa. It was empty. Without hesitation, Charlotte headed toward the second floor. There was only one lit room on the second floor.
Without thinking too much. Charlotte pushed the door open. Charlotte was momentarily stunned at what she saw before letting out a scream.
She saw Thomas stepping out of the shower with only a towel wrapped around him. His hair was still damp. The towel was loosely draped around his waist. He turned around and the towel slipped off.
He’s completely naked. This was the only thought in Charlotte’s mind. In a daze, her gaze was fixated on Thomas‘ nether regions. Thomas raised an eyebrow and subconsciously followed her gaze.
Then, at a leisurely pace, he picked up the fallen towel and wrapped it back around himself. In a soft and calm voice, he asked. “Have you seen enough?”
Charlotte stuck her tongue out and replied, “I have.”
Thomas didn’t expect Charlotte to respond so earnestly. If not for the blush on her cheeks, he might have thought he’d encountered a female pervert. He felt like he had been visually harassed.
Watching Charlotte immediately turn around, Thomas chuckled. “You’ve already seen it, and now you’re acting shy?”
Charlotte was confused. Isn’t he supposed to be a lawyer? Aren’t lawyers supposed to be serious? What on earth is he saying?
Charlotte was highly critical of him in her mind but maintained her composure in front of Thomas. She asked politely, “Mr. Tom, could you please put on some clothes?”
Thomas obviously didn’t listen as he walked toward Charlotte. His perfectly sculpted V–shaped physique swayed before
Charlotte’s eyes.
He’s too handsome for me. This was the second thought about Thomas that flashed across Charlotte’s mind tonight.
Seeing that Thomas had no intention of getting dressed, Charlotte took a deep breath and quickly got to the point. “Mr. Tom, I’m here for my earring.”
Thomas responded with a hum. He bent down and grabbed a bottle of mineral water from the mini–fridge for Charlotte. Of course, he opened it first before handing it to her.

Charlotte appreciated the gesture. “Thank you.”
After that, Thomas casually poured himself a glass of wine, his fingers twirling the crystalline glass. The rich aroma of red wine filled the air, but didn’t mention the earring at all.
“Mr. Tom,” Charlotte couldn’t help but repeat herself. “I’m here for my earring.”
She added graciously, “Thank you for keeping it for me.”
Seeing that Thomas was motionless, clearly showing no intention of finding the earring for her, Charlotte took another deep breath and said, “Just tell me where it is, and I can get it myself.”
Her attitude remained as respectful as ever, yet deep down, countless claws were emerging from her body. She desperately wanted to tear Thomas apart to shreds.
Thomas took a sip of wine before admitting, “I forgot to bring it. It’s at the office.”
Charlotte was shocked. Is he messing with me the whole time?
She glared at Thomas. “Mr. Tom, are you messing with me?”
Thomas‘ brows furrowed slightly. After being “paid” by Charlotte, he felt like his dignity was being trampled on once again. They had clearly been intimate last time, yet Charlotte could only act like a complete stranger now, as if nothing had ever happened between them. This was a feeling he had never experienced before.
Soon, Thomas downed his glass of wine and walked toward Charlotte. Her heart was thumping.
