I was blessed with a body no man could resist.
The moment we hit the peak of pleasure, a glowing thread appeared on my wrist-

On the deck, several kidnappers stripped off my clothes, their eyes filled with lust.
My body shook with fear, but I forced myself to stay calm.

“Maddie, surely you can be as generous as a younger woman, can’t you?”
My voice shook as I replied, “Eric, you abandoned me to kidnappers when my life was in danger, then brought another woman into our home without hesitation. And now you want me to be generous?”

“Jessica was so traumatized by the kidnapping that she couldn’t stop trembling. The doctor mentioned that skin–to–skin contact is the most comforting.
“Maddie, I love you, so I can accept you finding happiness with other
men.
“You should be just as understanding of my duty to Jessica.” He playfully tapped my nose.
“You’ve had many others, but I only have Jessica. You’re actually getting the better deal.”
Seeing my tear–filled eyes, his voice softened.
“Alright, I promise I won’t touch her again, okay?
“Now go take a shower.
“If you’re upset, stay in your room. I’ll come be with you as soon as I’m finished here.”
I clenched my fists, holding back tears as I headed toward the room.
I took a blade and made a tiny incision on my wrist, watching a drop of blood appear. I gently washed away with water.
Beyond the door, Jessica murmured, “You promised you wouldn’t come near me again.
“Go to her. She’s more attractive, more captivating.”
Eric rasped, “If I hadn’t said that, how else could I ensure she stays with me completely?
“If she falls for someone else, I’ll lose my status as the wealthiest man.”
