After doing all of this, Jordan began to miss Melanie like never before.
He missed every day that Melanie had once spent with him.
Missed Melanie’s smile…

So, Jordan began to have Secret search for Melanie’s whereabouts.
No matter what, even if he had to search to the ends of the earth, he would definitely find Melanie and bring her back.
Although he did not fulfill his promise to marry Melanie when she turned thirty, he now understands what he wants.
He and Danica had already divorced, and he would apologize to Melanie.
The two had been together for twelve years, and as long as he apologized to Melanie, he believed that she would definitely forgive him and come back to
him.
A few days later, Anthony finally found out about Melanie’s news.
After Colin and Melanie received their certificates that day, Colin took Melanie to Lenonpool.

After all, having grown up together, Jordan recognized it instantly.
– It was Melanie!
“Melanie!” Jordan exclaimed excitedly.
In my mind, I imagined Melanie seeing various expressions that she would have.
Heartache, anger, tears…
But never did I expect that in the end, what appeared was tranquility.
It was a calm and distant demeanor when encountering strangers.

“How did you come? Don’t you need to accompany Danica?”
Melanie looked at Jordan’s expression without a hint of emotion, really treating them like an insignificant stranger.

“Melanie, Danica and I got divorced. Can we talk alone?”

“I didn’t think there was anything to talk about between the two of us. Your divorce with Danica has nothing to do with me.”
“Please, I beg you, I have something to tell you.”
The usually proud Jordan, for the first time, showed a pleading expression, and it was directed towards Melanie.

After Melanie finished speaking, she walked inside without hesitation, not wanting to see Jordan again.
This heartless Melanie made Jordan feel unfamiliar and helpless, and he couldn’t enter the heavily guarded mansion.
Jordan could only shout Melanie’s name.
Watching Melanie getting further and further away, Jordan pleaded with an almost trembling voice, “Melanie, I would do anything, really, anything. Just, just give me a chance, I really have a lot to say to you.”
Melanie’s footsteps came to a halt after that sentence.

Jordan’s face turned red, and he let out a crisp “woof” before plopping down on the ground.
This time, Melanie really laughed.
“Where did this dog come from? It was licking so much.”
When he was young, the bullet hit him right between the eyebrows, and Jordan’s face immediately turned pale.
