“Melanie, are you sure you wanted to marry me on the seventh day?”
“Confirmed.”
“Okay. Wait for me to finish my business at Lenonpool and I will come to marry you.”
Hanging up the phone, Melanie Orwell tugged at the corner of her lips, feeling a sense of being transported to another world.
If someone had told her before, she would have found it incredibly absurd to choose to enter the realm of marriage with someone she had known for less than six months.
Because everyone knew, her biggest wish in this lifetime was to marry Jordan Tye, whom she had liked for twelve years.
But now she had to give up Jordan, whom she had loved for twelve years, and marry another man.

After hanging up the phone, Melanie sat on the couch.
At the same time, the news on the television was broadcasting an interview with Jordan, the president of the Tye Group.
Jordan was wearing a custom–made suit, looking handsome and tall, with a pair of eyes that always gave people an illusion of deep affection.
The reporter joked with a smile, “Now that we have finished asking about the Tye Group’s business blueprint, may I ask Mr. Tye some personal questions? Mr. Tye, who is handsome and wealthy, is considered the diamond bachelor in the hearts of many women. Allow me to gossip on behalf of all the female compatriots.”
Jordan nodded politely, “Go ahead and ask.”
It is said that Mr. Tye recently purchased a villa in Sunshine Heights and also bid on a ten–carat blue diamond at last month’s auction, symbolizing eternal love. Mr. Tye, is something good about to happen to you?
As soon as the words were spoken, everyone held their breath, waiting for Jordan’s response.
Jordan didn’t hesitate and said, “Yes, a girl had spent her youth on me. I promised her to marry her before she turned thirty. It’s been seven days, and she just turned thirty. I don’t want to make her wait too long.”
The resounding words fell, causing a sensation and sparking heated discussions, quickly making it to the top of the trending topics.

“Diamond bachelor Jordan, the wedding date was just seven days away.”
The topic related to Jordan’s marriage all of a sudden exploded.
As soon as the news of Jordan’s upcoming marriage was revealed, Melanie’s former friends sent messages one after another to congratulate her on achieving her wish.
After all, she had once jokingly told Jordan, “I’ll only wait for you until you’re thirty. If you still haven’t married me by then, I won’t want you anymore…”
But nobody knew that Jordan was not going to marry her.
Melanie’s parents and Jordan’s parents were neighbors.
The two of them grew up together since they were young, and she had been in love with him for a whole twelve years.

During the college entrance examination, because of Jordan’s words, she gave up the opportunity to be directly admitted to university and chose to accompany him to the university he liked.

She spent a whole twelve years on Jordan, firmly believing that true love conquers all.
However, it was not until half a month ago that she discovered the villa Jordan had ordered and the blue diamond from the auction were all given to a woman named ‘Danica Pawson‘. Only then did she realize how ridiculous she had been for the past twelve years.
Seven days later, it was her thirtieth birthday.
And Jordan didn’t want to marry her, so she also didn’t plan to continue wasting her time on Jordan.
