For a whole week, Edwin appeared at the company’s doorstep, rain or shine.
Every time he saw me, he had a sad expression on his face.

guest.
In the corner, Edwin was holding a glass of wine and building a relationship with the business partner he used to look down upon.

It was just like back then when I would drink recklessly, all for the sake of accompanying him to make a name for himself.
In the moment of our eye contact, I saw embarrassment, shock, pain, and regret in his eyes.
