Chapter136
The students around started moving, taking snacks and other
stuff out of their drawers and throwing them onto Alarieka’s
desk.
Alarieka didn’t have time to dodge and got hit right on the
forehead by a bag of bread.
She held her head and didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Looking at all the food almost overflowing on the table, she
raised her hand: “Okay, okay, that’s a lot.”
Jaylene tore open the bread, stuck the straw into the milk, and
asked her in a low voice, “What’s wrong, are you in a bad
mood?”
Alarieka said weakly, “Got mad at Kieran.”
Jaylene waved and said, “Just treat him like a jerk, just ignore
him.”
This jerk was hanging around in front of her every day, and
there was nothing she could do.
Alarieka ate the bread like it was tasteless wax and nodded

weakly.
About the Mcintosh Piano Competition spots, Kieran’s way
didn’t work, she had to find another way.
After evening self–study class ended, Alarieka and Jaylene
didn’t set up their stall again, but went straight to the hospital to
visit Lorelai.
Lately, Lorelai had been a lot more energetic. She held Alarieka
and Jaylene’s hands and chattered on about a lot of things.
Alarieka listened.
On the way back, Jaylene bumped her shoulder: “Where did
your soul go? You were so absent–minded.”
Alarieka looked up and saw that the big screen, which had been
pretty far from her during the day, was now not far away.
She seemed a bit absent–minded: “I wanted to join the Mcintosh
Piano Competition recently, but the registration deadline was
already over. I didn’t know how to take part.”
Jaylene wondered, “Mcintosh Piano Competition? Is it
important? What kind of competition is that, I’ve never even
heard of it.”
Chapter136
Alarieka shook her head with a little laugh, “It’s fine, I’ll figure it
out myself.”
Jaylene raised her hand, put her arm around her shoulder, and
said loyally, “Don’t worry, I don’t really get it, but I’ll ask around.
I have a lot of friends, someone’s gotta have a way!”
Alarieka actually didn’t have much hope and nodded, saying,
“Okay”
Didn’t expect it, but the next day, Alarieka heard the good news
from Jaylene.
Jaylene said mysteriously, “I heard from a friend who wants to
join the competition, and there’s still one spot left.”
Alarieka’s eyes lit up: “How?”
Jaylene said, “I had a friend who lived in the countryside, and
one of the judges for this contest lived next door to him. That judge still had a spot for the contest and hadn’t decided who to
give it to yet. We could go look for him after school.”
It was Friday. After two classes in the afternoon, we could go
home.
Alarieka nodded hard, “Okay!”

the Argent’s villa.
Kieran was standing at the entrance of the villa changing his
shoes when he heard faint piano music coming from upstairs.
His eyes softened a bit. The servant next to him was quick-
witted and immediately said, “During this time, Ms. Whitaker
got up and started practicing piano every day to prepare for the
competition. I don’t really understand music, but I just know it
sounded really nice. We all liked it a lot.”
In the past, Kieran wasn’t interested in knowing about the
servants.
But this time it involved Roschelle. He just gave a low mm, put
on his slippers, and went straight upstairs to the piano room.
The employer’s family got along well, and the servants felt
comfortable too. Seeing Kieran and Roschelle being loving, they
couldn’t help but smile.
“It had to be Ms. Whitaker moving in and Alarieka moving out,
otherwise, who knows what kind of mess this house would’ve
turned into.”
“Yeah, Ms. Whitaker was kind and gentle, pretty, and really
talented. She was way better than that Alarieka. Good thing Mr.
Argent picked Ms. Whitaker.“”
Chapter136
“What are you choosing for, Mr. Argent never even took
Alarieka seriously, okay!”
Kieran quietly pushed the door open and walked in, the piano
suddenly got loud, and the sound lingered in the air.
In the piano room, there was a big piano. Roschelle, wearing a
white dress, sat on the piano bench. Her slender fingers danced
) on the keys, and a beautiful, graceful melody came from her
hands.
The corners of her lips curled into a gentle smile. When she
heard the noise at the door, she looked up.
When she saw it was Kieran, the corners of her lips curled into
a softer, bigger smile.
“Kier, you came.”
Kieran closed the door with his back hand and nodded lightly.
Roschelle looked away and kept playing this piano piece.
Kieran leaned against the wall, casually looking at Roschelle.
This piano room, and this piano, were both things Kieran once
got ready for Alarieka.
