Chapter121
The final result was surprisingly tasty, and both of them ate to
their hearts‘ content.
Jaylene said, “I had a feeling we’d be in short supply.“”
Alarieka lay by her side, her eyes squinting with a smile.
The next morning, the two of them went to school together.
First, I rode the tricycle near the school, asked someone I knew
to park it for me, and then went to the school.
When she got to class, Jaylene told everyone about her plan to
set up a stall after school, and asked them to spread the word so
she could build up a customer base.
Everyone got interested as soon as they heard it. They all said
they would go check it out after class, and even went around
telling others that Jaylene and Alarieka were going to set up a
stall to sell barbecue.
All day long, not just the students, even the teachers knew
Alarieka and Jaylene were setting up a stall to sell barbecue.
It was close to the end of school, Clarissa came.
Chapter121
J
Clarissa stood at the door with her girlfriends and little
followers, talking loudly.
“Some people just couldn’t become a phoenix even if they made
it to the top. Once they got kicked out of the Argent family, they
ended up having to set up a stall to sell barbecue. It was really
funny. How much money could you even make from that? So
pathetic, really pathetic.”
The little follower caught up right away. Shan laughed and said,
“I think she’d be better off just begging you for some money.
There’s no way she could actually accomplish anything.”
Clarissa snorted, “Even if she begged me, I wouldn’t give her
money. I don’t want to be friends with someone who sells stuff
on the street. That’s so embarrassing. All my friends are
daughters of business owners or kids from powerful families. I look down on people who sell things on the street.”
Alarieka didn’t care how Clarissa talked about her.
But the classmates in the class didn’t seem to agree.
Ever since she last took Jaylene out of the club, these students
seemed to treat her like one of their own. They were much nicer
to her and called her for everything.
Same thing this time, they couldn’t stand someone being so

mean, so they immediately snapped back with some sarcastic
comments.
)
“Did you guys smell something stinky?” The girl held her nose
and said with disgust, “It really stinks!”
The others got it, pretended not to know, sniffed around, then
suddenly pointed at the classroom door and shouted:
“Clarissa had bad breath! She had bad breath, I could smell it
even standing here, it was really stinky!”
“Yeah, Clarissa smelled bad, like pig poop!”
They said every single word super loud, and Alarieka even
heard the echo in the classroom.
There’s no way Clarissa didn’t hear it. She looked around at the
people who were starting to cover their noses and giving her
suspicious looks, her face turning red with anger, and she
snapped, “It wasn’t me, I didn’t stink!”
The classmates gathered around, sniffed near her, and pointed
at her saying, “It’s you, you’re the one who smells bad. Go take a
shower, hurry up, don’t stink us out!”
At this moment, Jaylene just walked in from outside the
classroom.
Chapter 121
She took a deep breath and then sneezed big sneezes at Clarissa
several times in a row.
“Achoo, achoo!”
Jaylene got closer and closer to Clarissa, and almost sneezed
right up against Clarissa.
Clarissa looked disgusted and was all stiff.
Jaylene pinched Clarissa’s clothes and, all flustered, used the
corner to wipe her lips and nose and stuff.
He looked up and gave an awkward smile, saying, “Sorry, you
smell so–achoo–so bad, I just–achoo–just couldn’t help it.”
Clarissa grabbed her clothes back, but saw some weird sticky
stuff on them. Her face turned purple right away, and she
shook off that piece of fabric in disgust.
There was a burst of laughter around.
Clarissa looked at the people around her covering their mouths
and noses, and even the little follower who came with her also
raised a hand to cover their mouth and nose, watching her
cautiously.
Clarissa’s face turned red, and her chest was rising and falling as

she breathed. She looked really pissed off.
She suddenly turned around, quickly ran out of the crowd and
rushed back.
From a distance, Alarieka also saw Clarissa, while running, even
suspiciously raise her hand and sniff her own arm.
There was laughter all around Alarieka.
Alarieka couldn’t help but smile too, feeling warm in her chest.
Once, she was always alone.
Looking back now, there were already so many people standing
behind her.
This was what Jaylene brought her.
