Chapter 11%
The next day, I received yet another unexpected visitor–Sebastian
He stood in the opulent reception room of the Silver Moon Consortium, visibly uneasy and out of place. “Miss Amalia…” he began, his voice trembling. “1… I have something I need to tell you,”
gestured for him to sit and watched him calmly. “Go on
Sebastian took a deep breath, as if summoning great courage “Miss Amalia Maya she’s been planning a lot of things.”
Inodded. “I know. Like turning you into an Alpha.“!!
He didn’t seem surprised that I already knew. He simply nodded and murmured. “She has her reasons…
I laughed coldly in my heart. So having reasons justifies killing my mother and stealing everything from me?
“Why are you telling me this now?” I raised an eyebrow.
Sebastian gave a bitter smile, his eyes shadowed with sorrow. “Because I’m her fated mate, and I’m worried about her.”
He looked up, a plea in his gaze. “Miss Amalio, you’re a good person. But you’re also on Alpha. You don’t understand what it’s like for us Omegas at the bottom.”
“She wants to change everything–she wants to escape the fate of being an Omega, to gain power and respect. I remember, when we were kids, you were the only one who didn’t treat me differently because of my status. Do you remember? When the other Alphas bullied me, you stood up for me…”
“I know Maya’s done many things wrong. But please please forgive her take her far away. We’ll disappear from your life forever.”
Looked at his eamest pleading face and spoke coldly, telling him everything–every last detail of what Maya had done how she seduced Damian, how she conspired to kill my mother, how she sowed discord and drove a wedge between me and everyone I loved, how she stood by my mother’s deathbed and pushed her into the grave with cruel words. And now, how she was colluding with Damian to seize the entire Silver Moon Consortium
I didn’t leave out a single word.
By the time I finished. Sebastian’s face had gone ghostly pale. He could no longer look at me in the eyes. His body trembled uncontrollably, and he collapsed to the floor, clutching his head in agony as muffled sobs escaped him.
I didn’t spare him another glance. I turned and walked out of the room.
ng like a victorious general returning from war.
A week later, Weston came to see me again, beaming
“Amalia! I did it! Maya is pregnant with my child!”
“So now, my company shouldn’t be under attack anymore, right? You promised.”
I stared at him coldly, my eyes unreadable.
“Weston” I said evenly. “That was Damian’s decision, not mine.”I
“If you want your company saved. go beg him.”
His smug smile faltered instantly. ”“”“But….. you 7
“What?” I interrupted. “You thought I promised you something? All I said was that I’d giving you an introduction to Damian. Isn’t that enough?”
Weston’s face twitched, but in the end, he nodded and brought Maya to meet Damion
When Damian leamed that Maya was pregnant, his fury erupted like a wildfire.
give you a chance. Right now, that chance is me
He lost control–half–shifting into his wolf form–his face contorting with rage. Then, without hesitation, he slammed his fist directly at Maya’s abdomen.”
“Ahhh” Maya let out a blood–curdling scream as her body flew like a broken kite, crashing hard into the wall. Blood instantly spread beneath her like a blooming red flower, staining the floor in a gruesome pool
Just like that, the child Maya carried–was killed by Damian’s own hand.
