Chapter 14
The appearance of this scantily clad figure was miserable and pitiful. She didn’t believe he would have no reaction, as she had originally seduced him and won him over by throwing herself at him.
Usually pretending to be righteous, never taking off the wedding ring, but when it came to rolling in bed with her, didn’t he also fail to control himself?
But this time, the situation seemed to be somewhat different.
Stanley faced a blushing Monique, attempting to seduce him in this way, but he found it repulsive.
He pushed her away and couldn’t hide his anger as he questioned, “Tell me, why did you send those indecent messages to Karissa?”
Monique’s heart skipped a beat as she didn’t expect the truth to be revealed so soon. She pretended to be confused and asked, “What information? Why can’t I understand what you’re saying?”
She didn’t expect to be able to hide it for a lifetime.
Shouldn’t Karissa, with her mild temperament, have given up her seat without saying a word, just like that?
Stanley gave her a cold laugh and said, “At this point, are you still going to lie? I have already told you that as long as you establish your own position, I will definitely give you what you want. How dare you go and harass her?!”
He became angrier and angrier as he spoke, and in the end, even his normally handsome and dignified face became twisted and ferocious.
Monique saw him in such a terrifying state for the first time. The color drained from her face instantly, and her lips trembled as she said, “Listen to me, it… it’s a misunderstanding. I can explain.”
Once we got through this hurdle, everything else was a piece of cake.
Stanley would not give Monique any chance to argue.
He directly picked up Karissa’s phone, raised his hand and pressed the screen to light it up, forcing her to see those messages clearly: “Are you trying to say that these things were taken by your phone itself and sent to her?”
He slowly flipped the pages while speaking, in order to leave Monique speechless and prevent her from saying anything that would further enrage him.
Monique’s initial reaction was to snatch the phone back.
But he was prepared, and he immediately took back his phone from his side, then relentlessly pursued with each step, asking, “I have read all the messages you sent, starting from six months ago. Why do you keep sending her one every few days? What are you keeping in your heart?”
No wonder Karissa stopped updating her social media accounts six months ago, she suddenly realized that her years–long relationship was nothing but a
joke!
From school uniforms to wedding dresses, what does it matter?
It was just a waste of a few years of our time.
Monique witnessed the irrefutable evidence and dared not anger Stanley any further. Instead, she quickly blinked her eyes and squeezed out a few tears, choking as she sobbed, “I was wrong, I truly was wrong. Can you forgive me this time, please? I just love you too much!”
Stanley gave her a disgusted look and said, “Is it because you love me too much, or because you love the reputation of Mrs. Vargas? You know it yourself.”
All along, Monique had always disguised herself flawlessly in front of him.
He thought she was just shallow and foolish, and never thought about getting to know her thoughts more, but he never expected her true face to be so
despicable.
He felt a dizziness and realized that his once proud perspective was nothing but a joke.
Monique, seeing the situation, hurriedly went forward to help him, explaining urgently, “Please forgive me this time, she has already left, and from now on, the only person who will accompany you is me…”
Stanley became agitated and his mind buzzed. He couldn’t even hear her words clearly, only able to watch her lips move as she spoke explanations that he knew were feeble and powerless without even listening.
“That’s enough,” he said to her, with no patience left. He raised his hand, pointing towards the door, gritting his teeth as he squeezed out, “Get out of here right now, and from now on, I never want to see your face again!”
Monique was forcefully thrown off by him, and instead of getting up, she grabbed onto the edge of the carpet that he had just wanted to replace, pretending to cry pitifully and said, “I’m not leaving, don’t forget, you asked me to come today.”

Stanley turned around without looking back, leaving only one sentence behind: “Don’t be shameless.”
Based on the so–called “affection” in the past, this was his last chance for her.
But she was immersed in the sadness of losing her cash cow and had made up her mind to cry for another breakup fee before getting up.
Stanley was annoyed by the crying and had a headache. He rubbed Karissa’s phone in his hand to calm himself down a bit, and then immediately called the security to come in. He instructed, “Throw this crying woman out for me, and if she dares to come back again, call the police directly.”
