Chapter 11X
“What the hell do you think you are talking to me like that?”
Then she stood up, wrapped her arms around the man beside her and kissed him deeply right in front of Hunter “Let’s go. Don’t we have more important things to take care of?”
The man laughed and gave her a rough squeeze on the butt.
“You really are something. No wonder Hunter was willing to betray his own wife for you.”
Hunter staggered to his feet and watched their backs as they walked away, his gaze dark and empty.”
In his mind, my last words kept echoing, “The road ahead, you walk it alone.”
“Baby… I understand now. I know I was wrong. Will you come back to me?“}
Bleeding from the mouth, Hunter limped down the street.
The cold night wind howled as he climbed over the wall of a villa.
Inside, the room was filled with the sounds of passion.
Waiting for the moment when the couple was completely distracted, Hunter crept forward and slashed the man’s throat with a knife. Bright red blood splattered all over Savannah.
“Aaah! Help! Someone help!“}
She screamed in panic, her voice sharp and wild.§
The man thrashed toward her, his hand reaching out weakly.
“Help me-!”
But Savannah squeezed her eyes shut in fear until his body went still.
Hunter kicked the corpse aside coldly, “You all ruined me. If I can’t live a good life, then none of you will.“}
Terrified, Savannah tried to crawl away, but Hunter grabbed her by the hair and dragged her back to the body.” “Didn’t you love using men? Didn’t you like this one? Then stay with him.“}
Savannah knelt on the floor, bowing her head over and over, crying for mercy.§
“I was wrong! Brother Hunter, please forgive me this one time. I’ll be loyal to you forever. I’ll only love you!“> Hunter slapped her hard.
“Love me? Do you think you’re worthy? You’re nothing but a whore who’s been with every man alive!“}
Ignoring her bruised and swollen face, Savannah quickly grabbed his hand.
“I was forced! You know I’m just a weak woman. What could I do? When you were detained, this man forced me. I didn’t dare resist!“} Savannah cried loudly as if something terribly unfair had happened to her.
Hunter grabbed her by the neck, his red eyes wild like a demon.
“You think I still believe a single word you say? You think I don’t know how many men you’ve been with behind my back? You knew Ivy wasn’t your real sister and you still planned to make her carry your baby. You’re the most scheming of them all!“}
He tightened his grip around her neck with one hand and slapped her face with the other.
“Someone like you deserves to rot in hell. Didn’t you love that man? Then go down there and stay with him!“}
Savannah stared into Hunter’s furious eyes, her face pale and full of fear.
“Hunter, do you really think you’re any better?” she said, voice shaking. “Everything that happened, every single thing started because of you.”
Hunter froze. His hand loosened just a little.
Savannah quickly broke free.
“You’re the biggest hypocrite. If you hadn’t suggested putting our embryo into her body, none of this would’ve happened.“}
