Chapter 18
Luna was so harshly criticized by Silas that her mind went blank for a moment. After realizing what had happened, her entire demeanor turned. cold.
“Silas, just because you cheated in the marriage, do you think everyone is like you?”
“What position are you questioning me from?”
“I didn’t mean that… Silas quickly explained, noticing that Luna seemed to be angry.”
“Luna, I know I was wrong. Can you forgive me? Let’s start over… he said. as he reached out to hold Luna’s hand.”
Luna suddenly pushed him away and angrily said, “Don’t touch me!”
She stared at Silas, her face full of disgust. “I was disgusted.”
Silas was thrown off balance by her actions, and when he heard Luna’s words, his face turned ashen in an instant. He trembled his lips, speaking incoherently.
“Luna, I really know I was wrong. I… I took back all the money I spent on Rachel. You don’t like her, and she won’t appear in front of you again in the future.”
“I bought the rental house we used to live in. It’s full of our memories. Of course, if you don’t want to live there, I have other houses.”
“By the way, I also bought back your mother’s house…”
He rambled on about the things he had done during this period of time, ast if this could prove his sincerity to Luna.
“Enough! Luna interrupted him, she couldn’t understand how Silas could be so shameless.”
She looked at Silas coldly and said, “What’s the point of saying these things now? Do you really think that it can make up for everything you’ve done in the past?”
“I never thought about it that way, Luna. Whatever you want, I can make it up to you! Silas said eagerly.”
“I just wanted you to disappear in front of me.”
Luna didn’t want to get too involved with him. She felt a surge of anger in her heart, turned her head and wanted to leave. Seeing this, Silas quickly grabbed her and almost begged, “Luna, can you give me another chance? I really know I was wrong.”
“Did I never give you a chance? Luna sneered.”
“When Rachel stripped naked and lay on your bed, I didn’t blame you. I even carefully handled her for you. And what did I get in return? I got you pretending to be poor and wanting to punish me!”
“I worked myself to death every day to earn money to pay off your debts, while you were living happily with Rachel. When my mother was lying in the hospital unable to come up with 30,000 for her surgery, you didn’t even blink an eye and spent two million on Rachel.”
“I was kidnapped, the kidnappers asked you for ransom, you clearly had the money, but you didn’t believe me, and even let the kidnappers tear up the tickets. When it was Rachel’s turn to be kidnapped, not only did you suspect me and force me to hand her over, but you also gave away one billion to save her.”

“Every single thing, which opportunity have I not given you? Now you come to ask me for an opportunity. Who gave my deceased mother an opportunity? Who gave the kidnapped me an opportunity?”
In the end, Luna was almost shouting, her emotions fluctuating as she looked into Silas’s eyes filled with hatred.
Every time Luna spoke. Silas’s face grew paler, his hands hanging limply at his sides as he weakly protested. “It’s not like that, it’s not like that.
Everything Luna said was true, and he had no way to refute it.
Luna couldn’t stand the sight of Silas and didn’t want to deal with him. She shook off Silas’s hand and walked away. Silas tried to follow, but Nathan turned his head and ordered, “Stop him.”
Silas was stopped in his tracks and couldn’t take another step forward.
Nathan quickly jogged to catch up with Luna and lowered his gaze to apologize, “Sorry, I was careless.”
We had agreed to erase all traces for her, but Silas still managed to find
her.
“He was determined to find her, and you couldn’t stop him. Luna had long known what kind of person Silas was. Despite her countless refusals in the past, she couldn’t deter Silas in the slightest. Now, if he truly wanted to find her, as long as she was still alive in this world, she would eventually be found.”
Because of this, Luna lost interest and went home early to rest. The next morning, Nathan messaged her early wanting to take her out for a meal, saying it was to make up for what happened yesterday.
She thought about it and didn’t refuse, so she casually packed up and headed to the address Nathan had sent.
As she stepped into the restaurant, a bouquet of red roses was held out to her, behind the roses. Silas’s face, pretending to be affectionate.
He knelt down on one knee, holding a rose and said, “Luna, please forgive me!”
