Chapter 16
Luna raised the camera in her hand and pressed the shutter button with a “click” sound, capturing the scene in front of her.
After selling her shares, she had both money and time, so she began traveling to different countries to enrich her life.
After she finished taking photos, her phone in her pocket beeped twice. She took it out and realized it was a message from Nathan.
When she left, Nathan had already saved his contact information in her new contacts, saying he was afraid there might be some issues with the stock transfer in the future, so it would be convenient for him to find her
to deal with it.
Luna didn’t care about having one more person on her list, so she didn’t
bother.
She just didn’t expect Nathan to be so thoughtful, occasionally sharing with her the latest news about Silas.
“Silas recently broke up with Rachel. He sued Rachel to recover all the money he had spent on her over the years. He was also mistaken for someone else and arrested by passersby for indecent exposure.”
“That was really miserable.”
Without looking, Luna could also imagine the smug expression on Nathan’s face when he said those two sentences.
She tapped on the screen and then sent two messages.
“You don’t need to tell me about Silas anymore, we have no relationship.”
WPD
“I didn’t want to know about him anymore.”
After sending the message, she immediately turned off the screen, stuffed the phone back into her pocket, and no longer cared whether the other side would send a message back. She just focused on enjoying the beautiful scenery in front of her.
On the other end, Nathan raised an eyebrow as he looked at the message Luna had sent. He didn’t know what he was thinking, but it brought a smile to his face and lifted his mood..
“Mr. Wilson. The butler’s voice brought him back to reality, Nathan flipped his phone over on the table and looked up at him.”
“What happened?”
“Mr. Stellon came and said he wanted to see you.”
“See me? Nathan thought of Luna, who had just messaged him, and realized that she might be coming to ask him about Luna’s whereabouts.”
He lowered his gaze and refused, “I don’t want to see.
It seemed like she had guessed that he would say that, the butler continued, “Mr. Stellon said that if you don’t see him, he will wait outside until you agree to see him.”
Nathan sneered coldly, “Then let him wait.”
Silas stood outside the Wilson family’s door for several hours. When he arrived, he was already prepared for Nathan to give him a hard time. Now standing here, he also calmly accepted everything.
Until it was getting dark, Nathan finally relented and agreed to see him.
He stood all day, his legs completely stiff and numb. He limped inside, and the person leading the way showed no intention of taking care of him,
walking straight ahead without looking back.
Silas could only bear the pain and quickened his pace to catch up with
him.
Walking into the villa, Nathan leisurely took a sip of tea before calmly asking, “What does Mr. Stellon want with me?”
“Do you know where Luna went? Tell me her whereabouts.”
“Why should I tell you? Nathan raised an eyebrow.”
“I exchanged this information with you for the shares under Silas said.”
my name.
Nathan was taken aback, he hadn’t expected the other party to go to such lengths for Luna. He sat up straight and asked, “Is there anything you wouldn’t give for her? What if I wanted all of the shares under your name?”
Silas’s hand hanging by his side suddenly clenched, a hint of anger appearing on his face as he warned, “Nathan, don’t push it too far.”
“Huh. Nathan chuckled coldly, leaning back in his chair again. “It seemst like Luna isn’t as important to you as I imagined.”
Silas gritted his teeth, “Half, that’s my biggest offer.”
Nathan weighed it in his mind and realized that half of the shares under
Silas’s name was quite a significant amount.
“How about it, did you agree? Silas asked.”
Nathan smiled, and Silas almost thought he was about to speak, but then he heard him say, “Sorry, no comment!”
“You! Silas’s face was filled with anger. “You’re playing me!”
“In my dealings with Ms. Jackson, it was made clear that I would not tell you her whereabouts, and I would erase all traces of her ”
“Besides. I don’t want your shares. Your company is under my control now. Whether you give me this share or not, it doesn’t matter to me.”
He lazily lay on the chair, watching Silas in impotent rage, sneering and taunting. “Mr. Stellon, you didn’t cherish the person in front of you,
and now you regret it when they’re gone. What are you pretending for?”
“Wasn’t it you who hurt Ms. Jackson the most?”
“I and her affairs, it’s none of your business! Silas said angrily, “Where is she anyway?”
“Sorry, no comment, Butler, see the guests out!”
Nathan shouted loudly, and the butler beside him respectfully walked up to Silas, extending his hand and saying, “Mr. Stellon, this way please.”
Silas didn’t get the answer he wanted, unwilling to leave, he tried to rush past the butler towards Nathan. The butler quickly grabbed him and shouted, “Bodyguard!”
Immediately, two bodyguards rushed out and grabbed Silas, one on each side, leading him out. He struggled hard but to no avail, he could only shout to Nathan, “You want all the shares, I’ll give them to you, I just
want to know where Luna is!”
Nathan waved his hand, signaling for someone to quickly kick him out.
He was almost thrown out of the villa by the Wilson family’s bodyguards. He fell to the ground and gave the Wilson family a fierce look, muttering. “Luna, I will definitely find you.”
