Matt looked at her appearance and suddenly felt a wave of inexplicable panic in his heart.
He suddenly stood up and, without waiting for the family dinner to finish, pulled Marissa into the room.
“Marissa!” he closed the door, explaining urgently, “Leah has been feeling a bit depressed lately. The doctor said her unstable emotions could affect the baby. I’m just trying to comfort her and help her safely deliver the baby…”

Every day, Leah excitedly picked out wedding rings, wedding dresses, and even intentionally brought the brochure of the wedding venue to ask Marissa for her opinion.
“Marissa, what do you think of this venue?” She smiled sweetly, but there was a hint of challenge in her eyes.
“Mr. Holloway said he wants to give me the best.”
Marissa calmly flipped through the brochure and said lightly, “It’s all good.”
Leah punched the cotton angrily and bit her lip in frustration.

She took out the pure white wedding dress and handed it to Leah.
Matt stood still, looking at her calm expression, when suddenly an unprecedented panic surged in his heart. It was as if… she was slowly disappearing from his life.
