Erwina apologized to Hannah, said she still had something to do and had to leave first, then turned around and followed the message Gustav sent in starphone, walking into a teaching building.
There was actually a private lounge just for Gustav in Empire University!
Thinking back to how the teachers and students admired Gustav at the opening ceremony today, Erwina suddenly covered her face… She really wished she could go back to the night before the wedding and shake that version of herself who got tempted by looks!

The big gate, shining with a silvery metallic light, opened slowly with a beep. After Erwina walked in, the sensor door closed automatically again.
Erwina heard that cracking sound and thought, The sword of Damocles has finally fallen.
She walked in along the black–and–white carpet with geometric patterns on the floor, and soon saw the man sitting on the sofa, rubbing his brow.
The man took off his hat, and he also unbuttoned one button on his uniform collar, showing his Adam’s apple moving up and down.

Erwina cleared her throat lightly, “Commander Mullen, I’m here.”
Gustav looked up, gave her a slight nod, and motioned for her to sit across from him.
Erwina tried hard to stay calm and not look at the top of Gustav’s head… She just couldn’t forget those super soft, really nice–to–touch, and especially cute furry ears!
Mrs. Mullen, do you want something to drink? There’s juice, coffee, sweet cocoa, and plain water.” A housekeeping robot rolled over, but the voice was Victor’s.
Those housework robots just followed commands and didn’t have their own smart PC, so it was really easy for Victor to control them.
One reason Victor was so excited was because he didn’t expect that Mrs. Mullen was actually the streamer he had followed for so long!

Another more important reason, it wanted to please the hostess.
The owner was such a straight guy, he didn’t know how to comfort hist wife, so this Smart PC had to worry about everything.
Erwina remembered Victor’s voice, “Just plain water, thanks.”
“Okay, Mrs. Mullen.” The robot rolled over to the bar to pour some water.
Actually, Erwina felt a bit emotional when she heard it called that, since in a while, it probably wouldn’t be called that anymore.
For quite a while, Gustav didn’t say anything. He sat there leaning back,

One hand rested on the forehead, those long legs slightly bent, looking like they didn’t know where to go.
Erwina really felt that being in the same room with this big shot was super stressful.
And as every second passed, all she could think about was what happened that night when Gustav had a rut!
Frame by frame, it made Erwina feel like even her ears were getting hot!
She just decided to cut the Gordian knot!
“Commander Mullen, did you want to divorce me?”
Gustav looked up, his eyes sharp at Erwina, “Who said that?”
Erwina was stunned, “Weren’t you looking for me to get a divorce?”
Gustav shook his head, “Not leaving.”
Erwina was silent.
The sword of Damocles finally came down over her head, but it missed, and Erwina got even more confused. She didn’t know what Gustav was really thinking.
Victor rolled over with two cups of plain water, put one by Erwina’s hand, and the other by Gustav’s hand.
Watching its owner talk the day to death like that really worried it!
That really proved the saying, The host wasn’t worried, but the system was freaking out!

Victor’s electronic eyes kept winking at Gustav. Gustav frowned, “I didn’t say I wanted plain water.”
Victor: “…Master, this was “the wife sings, the husband follows“!”
Gustav: “…”
Erwina was just drinking water, and when she heard what Victor said, she almost spat it out!
She quickly said sorry, grabbed a napkin nearby to wipe her mouth, and decided to make things clear.
“Commander Mullen, you meant our marriage still existed between us?”
Gustav put down his glass of water, squinted at Erwina, frowned a little, and looked a bit unhappy.
