Chapter 10
Kaleigh suddenly looked up at her.
“What did you say?”
Gabriela has always been a little afraid of her older sister, and couldn’t help but shrink back, but
she still insisted.
“Victor divorced you, and you don’t even like him. Why don’t you be with Dorian instead?”
“How did you know that Victor and I got divorced?”
She swallowed her saliva.
“Last time, didn’t you ask me to deliver medicine to Victor?”
Just happened to see the divorce agreement, but she only thought at that time that Victor was just
talking.
Seeing that Victor had not returned for so long, she had no choice but to believe that Victor really
wanted a divorce.
After hearing her words, Kaleigh’s face grew even darker.
Without much thought, it was clear that the divorce agreement Victor left behind was not a tantrum, but a genuine intention to divorce him!
The coffee cup in hand was suddenly placed on the table.
Victor loved her so much, yet he still divorced her. She had spoiled him too much over the years.
Besides, where could he go without her?
“Call the gentleman and ask him not to get angry, hurry back.”
The servant opened his mouth, looking hesitant.
“We had called Mr. before, but couldn’t get through…‘
Kaleigh took out her phone and opened her contacts. She scrolled up and down, only to realize that she hadn’t saved his number at all.
Last time, it was the assistant who helped him to do it.
After receiving Victor’s phone number from the servant, she dialed it on her mobile phone.

But only a mechanical female voice came from there.
“The number you dialed was out of service.”
Victor actually canceled his own number!
The woman stared at the pitch–black screen. Her eyes filled with growing anger.
She suddenly stood up and walked away, leaving Gabriela shouting behind her without being able to stop her.
Kaleigh didn’t calm down until she was driving on the road and waiting at the red light.
Where did she go to find Victor?
Victor had been without parents since he was young, and he had been living in an orphanage when he was sponsored by the McCann family.
Amidst the honking of the car behind her, she turned around and headed towards the Orphanage.
As she looked at the tall man in front of her, the principal’s face turned cold for the first time. She first asked the other teachers to take the children downstairs before sitting down on the chair.
“Ms. McCann, please have a seat. What can I do for you?”
Kaleigh also didn’t want to dwell on the other person’s distant attitude, but just looked at her.
“I wanted to ask the dean if he knew where Victor had gone, he…”
She originally wanted to say that the house had become a mess without him these past few days, but
upon realizing the person’s identity in front of her, she ultimately swallowed the unfinished words.
The dean’s eyes flashed with a hint of mockery.
Did Kaleigh call Victor like this for five years after they got married?
A pang of heartache flashed through her mind, but then turned into relief.
Fortunately, Victor had already fulfilled his obligation and divorced her.
Otherwise, women like her are really not worth spending a lifetime with.
The dean didn’t even look at Kaleigh and started attending to his own matters.
“You were married to Victor for five years, and you don’t even know where he went. How would I know?”

“Ms. McCann, please come back.”
After returning empty–handed, Kaleigh punched the steering wheel.
Victor.
She always thought that the divorce agreement left by Victor was just to make her angry.
But now he canceled his phone number, and no one knows where he went.
I had to admit to myself that he really wanted to divorce me.
But she was filled with unwillingness in her heart. Victor had loved her so much before, why did he choose to leave her so decisively?
Just then, the phone beside rang.
After the call was connected, Kassandra’s weak voice came from the other side.
“Kaleigh, come back for a while, Mom has something to tell you.”
Kassandra looked at the person in front of her and sighed.
“Now you are divorced from Victor, and Dorian has divorced and returned to his country. You and
Dorian…”
“Mom,” Kaleigh quickly interrupted Kassandra, “I didn’t agree to divorce Victor.”
Kassandra widened her eyes in astonishment and took out a divorce certificate from the drawer.
“But you already got your divorce certificate, didn’t Victor tell you?”
