At those words, Aria’s eyes went wide with pure terror.
A puddle of stinking piss pooled around her legs, making Hunter wrinkle his nose in disgust.[]
He exploded with rage and kicked her hard:[]
“Fucking DISGUSTING!“|[]
“Should’ve thought of this before you tried to kill my kid!“]
He grabbed a cattle prod from one of his men and jammed it straight into Aria’s side.[]
The high voltage tore through her skin, making her convulse as her flesh sizzled and burned.[]
“AHHH! Please don’t kill me! PLEASE!!! AHHH–“[]
Aria stared at her charred arm and completely lost it, screaming for help from anyone who’d listen.[]
But nobody in that hallway dared make a sound.[]
Who the hell would be stupid enough to piss off the boss right now?!]
Only Vincent and Aria had been dumb enough to sign their own death warrants.]
Hunter coldly watched her agony with a cruel smile.[]
“Scared of a little pain?“]
“Let me make it WORSE!“]]
He snapped his fingers and his men immediately got the message.[]
One guy pinned Aria down while another pulled out pliers from a toolbox and started ripping off her fingernails one by one!
No anesthesia–just metal tearing through flesh and bone. Aria passed out from the pain multiple times.]
She turned to Phoebe with desperate eyes, her voice completely shot:[]
“Phoebe, we screwed up bad!“]]
“I was an idiot–didn’t mean to hurt you! Please, just forgive us!“]]
“We’ll turn our lives around, I promise!“]]
Phoebe responded coldly:]
“I’m not the one you should be begging.”
“Go beg Sophia–the one you stabbed to hell and almost froze to death!“]
Just then, the VIP room door burst open.[]

“Mr. Hawthorne, Ms. Mitchell is in hemorrhagic shock! She needs RH–negative blood NOW!“[]
“The blood bank’s almost empty–we need 800ml of that type to save her!“[]
Nobody there could provide it.[]
Phoebe grabbed her father’s hand weakly.[]
“Dad, Aunt Sophia saved my life–we have to save hers! Dad! Find a way!“[]
Hunter immediately shouted: “Anyone with that blood type gets ten million dollars!“[]
That blood type was incredibly rare–like finding a needle in a haystack.[]
Everyone’s eyes lit up at the cash, but none of them were a match.[]
He immediately sent his men to search the entire hospital for anyone with the right blood type.
Hunter’s eyes swept over Vincent and Aria, who were barely breathing.
“Test their blood types–we’re not missing ANY chance to save Sophia!“]
By pure chance, Vincent had RH–negative blood.[]
“NOW! Drag his ass to the OR! However much blood Sophia needs, drain it from this piece of shit!“[]
When the transfusion tube went into my arm, warm blood slowly flowed into my body and my weak pulse started climbing back up.[]
But I’d lost way too much blood–800ml wasn’t gonna cut it.]
The doctor came out to ask Hunter what to do.[]
After all, he owned this high–end private hospital.[]
“Keep bleeding him dry–whatever happens is on me!“[]
They ended up draining 1200ml before the doctor finally saved my life. Vincent looked like death and was only breathing thanks to a shit–ton of IV drips.[]
No clue how long I was out, but when I woke up in the ICU, little angel Phoebe was right there waiting for me.[]
