“Baby, go rest. Daddy’s handling this.“]
Hunter shot one look and his men instantly grabbed Vincent and Aria.[]
But Phoebe kept gripping her dad’s hand weakly.[]
“Wanna see them… get what’s coming…“[]
Hunter’s heart broke, but he nodded.[]
Vincent and Aria had just seen me get the shit beaten out of me. Now they were scared out of their minds, shaking uncontrollably.[]
Aria’s eyes went wild as she scrambled:[]
“Mr. Hawthorne, that’s NOT what happened!“[]
“Phoebe’s totally delusional from the poison–she’s mixing up who’s who.“[]
“I’ve got PROOF Sophia tried to kill her!“|]
Vincent stared at her in disbelief, totally confused.[]
Aria whipped out her phone and showed a sneaky photo she’d taken. In the picture, I was holding a syringe in one hand and gripping Phoebe’s arm with the other.]
I’d actually been injecting her with the antidote, but Aria twisted it to make it look like I was poisoning her.[]
Vincent caught on fast. “Aria’s right–the proof’s right there.“[]
“Mr. Hawthorne, don’t let them fool you!“]
“We were trying to save her and now we’re getting screwed over!“]
Hearing them flip the story completely, Phoebe shook with rage. She used every bit of strength to point at them and curse:]
“You’re LYING!”
“Are you completely heartless?!“[]
“I was poisoned but I wasn’t brain–dead–I know exactly who tried to kill me and who saved me!“]
Hunter obviously believed his daughter, but just to be absolutely sure, he asked the attending doctor:[]
“Could my daughter be having hallucinations or memory problems?“[]
When the doctor firmly said no, Hunter’s mouth curved into a bloodthirsty grin.[]
He strode over to Vincent and unleashed a thunderous punch that shattered Vincent’s jaw completely, teeth flying everywhere.[]
“You dare lie to my face? Think my reputation means NOTHING?!“]

Chapter 6
Before Vincent could beg for mercy, Hunter drove his knee straight into the bastard’s ribs. Then came a hurricane of punches and
kicks.
He beat Vincent until bones snapped and blood splattered everywhere. The sickening sound of breaking bones echoed through the
halls.
Vincent’s screams rang through the entire hospital![]
“Mr. Hawthorne, I fucked up! Don’t kill me!“[]
“I’ll pay for everything–medical bills, damages, whatever you want!“]]
Vincent begged through a mouthful of shattered teeth, his face completely destroyed.[]
Hunter laughed coldly. Then he stomped down, CRUSHING all ten fingers and toes into bloody mush.[]
The bones exploded like firecrackers–Vincent’s agonized screams could wake the dead.[]
“Think I give a shit about your pathetic money?“]
“You hurt my kid–I’m gonna RIP YOU APART!“||]
One final kick to the skull and Vincent crumpled like a broken doll, blood pooling around his head.[]
Aria saw the massacre and literally shit herself in terror. She collapsed, slamming her forehead against the floor until it split open.
“Boss, PLEASE! We’ll be your slaves forever!“[]
“Be your dogs…whatever you want–just don’t kill us!“||]
Hunter stepped over Vincent’s twitching body and loomed over Aria, pure murder radiating from every pore.[]
“What if I just want to watch you both… DIE screaming?“]
