Qiao Zixin’s gaze was so heated it made Nathan somewhat surprised. His heart involuntarily quickened for a moment.
But when he heard the name clearly and saw her face, Nathan was slightly taken aback.
It seemed he had heard this name somewhere before.
Soon, he remembered – this wasn’t the first time he had met Qiao Zixin.
Before getting married, as a physics prodigy in China, he had met Qiao Zixin when she was only 17 or 18, yet she had already won numerous international physics research awards and was widely renowned.
At the time, Nathan had just won some basic awards and was eager to learn.
When he had the chance to interact with the authoritative Qiao Zixin, though he was 3-4 years older, he still asked her many questions. But unfortunately, he got married after that.
He also gave up pursuing physics and never saw Qiao Zixin again.
Seeing her again now, Nathan was very happy and quickly shook her hand: “Hello Zixin! Nathan Xu reporting for duty.”

Hearing Mrs. Fu’s scolding, Ethan, who had been crying on the side, suddenly rushed forward to hug his mother, wailing loudly.

She even started cursing Olivia, saying if they didn’t release her son soon, she would disown her!
General Sullivan walked in with the dejected Olivia, followed by the bruised Mr. Fu. Only Sophie was missing.
As soon as she entered, Olivia crouched on the ground, holding her head in her hands, looking extremely pained.
Mrs. Fu’s heart skipped a beat, but the next second she immediately turned to General Sullivan and shouted: “Father–in–law, have you cleared everything up? It was all that Xu fellow slandering us! My son may be foolish, but he would never be involved
with two sisters at the same time…”
Mr. Fu raised his foot and kicked her hard, showing no mercy.
“Shut up! Shut your mouth! Haven’t you embarrassed us enough?”
General Sullivan turned and slapped Ethan, who had realized what was happening and quickly curled up in a corner.
“You dog! You worthless dog! How could I have raised such a son! I worked so hard to put you through school, and all you know
how to do is use that face of yours to fool around! Do you know the Sullivan family’s status? We gave you a chance three years ago, yet you still dared to…”
Crouching on the ground, Olivia heard her father’s scolding and grew increasingly agitated. She suddenly raised her head, her eyes bloodshot.
“Enough! I just want to know where my husband is now!”
The next second, she stood up and looked at Ethan, her voice ice cold.
