Chapter 24 No Escape
“How many vehicles?”
“Three.
Mr. Hyde sneered. “They really think that little of me? Just three cars, and they think they can take me on? They’re looking for death.”
He was determined to make sure they never left alive. Finally, he would be rid of this nightmare once and for all.
What he didn’t know was that those three vehicles were just a smokescreen from Samuel..
At that very moment, Samuel’s elite forces had already quietly infiltrated his territory.
From one of the cars, someone remotely hacked into the villa’s surveillance system and systematically disabled it, one section at a time.
They didn’t encounter resistance until they reached the second villa, where a mercenary finally spotted them.
Gunfire erupted inside the compound.
Hearing the commotion outside, Mr. Hyde’s heart sank,
Faster than he had anticipated.
Samuel had come fully prepared.
Mr. Hyde grabbed a gun, yanked open a drawer to pull out a bag, and under the cover of his bodyguards, charged toward the
exit.
As long as the green hills remain, there will always be wood to burn. I need to survive first.
*Boss, they’re already headed this way! We need to retreat now!” A mercenary stumbled in, clutching a bleeding wrist.
“Fuck!” Mr. Hyde cursed. This had been his safest stronghold in Dravia, and now it was falling. Soon it would be nothing but ” ruins.
“Hold them off? Samuel only sent three cars he can’t have that many people. Call every brother we have to fight back!”
“Yes, sir!” a bodyguard answered before rushing out.
There were still piles of money and valuables inside the villa, but now, none of it could be saved.
Screw it.
Survival comes first.
Without wasting another second, Mr. Hyde and a few guards made for a different exit.
Seeing the situation fall apart, Corey gritted his teeth and tried to stick close to Mr. Hyde.
He was just an ordinary thug. He had seen violence before, but never anything this intense.
And now it was Samuel, who was out for their lives. He couldn’t let himself fall into Samuel’s hands.
Mr. Hyde noticed Corey following behind. His eyes flashed cold.
He didn’t give a damn about that useless piece of trash. Dragging Corey along would only slow him down.
He should’ve just shot him earlier and saved himself the trouble.

Chapter 24 No Escape
Mr. Hyde couldn’t elp but suspect – Corey had shown up, and then, out of nowhere, Samuel’s people had found this place.
This villa had been hidden for over ten years without being discovered.
How had Samuel found it so quickly!
But there was no time to figure it out now.
Mr. Hyde turned and kicked Corey hard. “Get the hell away from me! I’m barely saving my own ass. I’m not dragging you along!”
With that, he grabbed his bag and made for the exit.
There was no way Corey would just sit around and wait to die. If Samuel caught him, he would be dead for sure- and it would be a slow, agonizing death.
By now, Corey was certain Samuel had already caught Darren.
Darren was probably dead already. Even if he wasn’t, with Samuel’s methods, he wouldn’t be far from it.
What they didn’t know was that Corey’s phone had been bugged with a tracker.
In fact, three phones had been tagged, because all three of them had deep ties to Darren.
Days ago. Windy had set the plan in motion, buying the equipment and hiring people to lure Corey and the others out.
It had taken five days to put it all in place. At first, she had only confirmed Darren’s involvement in the old case and hadn’t known about the others.
After days of tracking, they had found no obvious clues everyone lived like normal.

So she had forced Darren to expose himself first, filming the video and sending it to Samuel. Once Zhang Biao got caught, his connections would start panicking
That was how they confirmed Corey’s involvement. Just two hours after the video went public, Corey had panicked and rushed out, making frantic calls.
Corey had left and Samuel had followed.
Corey scrambled to his feet and chased after Mr. Hyde
Mr. Hyde turned, lifted his gun, and fired several rounds at him..
Corey barely h
had time to react before bullets tore through his body.
He had never expected that the man he thought would save him would be the one to kill him.
But how could Mr. Hyde possibly let him live?
Of the people involved back then, only three had survived. Darren being caught meant their identities had been exposed.
Corey had even dared to think he could use that against him.
Now, with Corey dead, only Mr. Hyde knew the full story.
When I rise again, I’ll make sure Samuel dies!
After finishing off Corey, Mr. Hyde wasted no time and continued his escape.
Back when he had built this villa, he had constructed several secret escape routes.
One of them was extremely well–hidden.
