Iva entered the office, she heard Felix say that he was going to Country M.
“Felix, our wedding day is coming soon. Why do you want to go abroad at this time?” Iva’s tone was filled with a hint of complaint.
Felix rubbed his eyebrows and waved to the Project Manager, signaling him to go out first. After the Project Manager left, Iva became even more unscrupulous and directly put her arms around Felix’s waist from behind.
“Felix, the wedding day is approaching, can you not leave and just stay with me?”
Felix pulled Iva’s arm away, turned around and said seriously, “Iva, I have put a lot of effort into getting Pearson Group listed. You know how important this project is to Pearson Group. Don’t be willful.”
Iva furrowed her brows, her voice soft but edged with hurt. “Am I not more important than the company matters?”
Hearing this, Felix’s brows instantly furrowed.
If it was Renee, she would definitely not be so unreasonable. She would just wait for him to come back home obediently.
Three months had passed and Felix had been telling himself not to think about Renee anymore, but he would always think of her inadvertently.
He did not notice it when Renee was around, but when she had gone, the comparison showed that Renee used to be so well–behaved and sensible.
Iva noticed Felix’s change of mood and immediately changed her words, “Felix, I’m not trying to stop your career. I’m just worried that you’re too tired.
“After all, you have to prepare for the wedding and take care of company matters. I’m worried that you can’t handle it.”
Felix’s face showed no expression and his tone was calm as he explained, “I will arrange the wedding and you don’t have to worry about the company’s affairs. I will take care of things here.”
Iva raised her eyes, with a hint of grievance in her eyes as she asked, “Felix, are you angry?”
Felixwas not good at coaxing women. He liked Iva before because she was independent enough and had her own unique charm.
But that time, Iva was like a jealous little woman.
He did not like Iva like this.

After saying this, Felix returned to his seat to work and no longer paid attention to Iva.
Iva felt ignored, so she concealed her dissatisfaction and left the office with her bag. As soon as she left the company building, Iva received a call from a private detective sent by Felix to investigate Renee’s whereabouts.
“Ms. Hawkins, I have found out where Ms. Jackson is now. She is in Country M.”
Iva clenched her fingers and asked why Felix had to go to Country M. It turned out that it
was because Renee was there.
Iva was no longer as weak as she was in front of Felix. A hint of cruelty flashed across her eyes as she asked, “Have you told Felix about this news?”
“I couldn’t get through on the phone, so I sent a message to Mr. Pearson and he should have received it. Ms. Hawkins, our cooperation is that I will share with you any information I find about Mr. Pearson. Now that the person has been found, our cooperation has ended.”
After the call was hung up, Iva threw the phone away and it broke into pieces in an instant.
“Renee, why are you so haunting? I’m about to get married and you still come and interfere!”
Felix in the President’s office upstairs had just received information from the private detective.
