Chapter 11 Stop Looking
Standing in the steamy haze, Madeleine let out a long sigh of relief while clutching the faucet.
She slipped and almost fell.
It was very dangerous for her, a pregnant woman.
In the next second, someone kicked the bathroom door open with a loud bang.
Vincent stood at the door, his piercing gaze fixed on Madeleine through the haze.
“What happened?” he asked.
Madeleine froze for a second before blushing.
“Nothing. I’m fine. It was just a slip. Turn around! I’m naked! Stop looking at me!”
Panic set in as she hovered her hands up and down frantically, not knowing where to cover.
Just then, she slipped again.
Losing her balance, she fell backward while screaming.
The second before she crashed into the wall, he reached out and wrapped his strong arm around her slender waist.
He was so close to her.

Her entire body was exposed to his sight.
Realizing this, she blushed even more–even her neck turned red as a beetroot.
Vincent didn’t look away.

Her body was flawless–it was so soft and tender. As his gaze fell upon her full breasts, his breath hitched, and he instinctively gasped, feeling a certain part of him stir in response.
Just then, Jaylene said at the door, “Ms. Faulkner? Are you OK?”
Her voice snapped Madeleine back to reality. She shivered slightly and then pulled away from Vincent’s arms hastily, grabbing a towel from the shelf and wrapping herself with it.
Gosh! Her body was exposed to his sight completely!
Vincent took a deep breath and loosened his collar irritably to relieve the heat in him.
He thought, “Needless to say, this is one of her tricks again.
“This is so unbelievable–how come she’s got so many schemes?
“And the worst part is, my body reacted!
“Countless women have tried to seduce me by stripping themselves naked, but they all failed.
“How come I fell for this scheming woman’s cheap trick today?
“Damn it!”
“Mr. Romero, Ms. Faulkner, I’ll go cook now.”

Madeleine felt so embarrassed that she just wanted to vanish into thin air.
Clutching the towel, she murmured, her face burning, “Mr. Romero… It’ll be greatly appreciated if you can forget about what you saw.”
Vincent regained his usual composure and coldness at once, sneering,
“You have nothing to worry about. I’ve seen more curves on a
broomstick.”
“A–Alright then.”
Madeleine swallowed hard.
Of course, he wouldn’t be interested in her.
Given his status, he could have any woman he wanted. Why would he set his eyes on her? She was so mediocre.
She turned around to leave, but he grabbed her suddenly.
Then he reached out and gripped her chin.
“What you did was very dangerous. If you try anything like that again and hurt the babies, you’re doomed.”
She had repeatedly tried to seduce him by pretending to fall. She must be warned sternly!
His tone was so icy that even the temperature in the bathroom dropped.
Shivering slightly, Madeleine subconsciously stroked her abdomen. “You got me wrong. It’s just… the floor was too slippery. I’ll be more careful from now on.”

She didn’t want to explain anything anymore because he wouldn’t believe her anyway.
She was the victim–pregnant with his babies by accident, had her first kiss taken, and was left completely exposed to him.
Her life was ruined.
Still, he didn’t think it was enough and insulted her like this?

Vincent left the apartment and went back to the Romero’s mansion.
Madilyn was in the living room, fishing Tiffany for information.
“It’s such a shame that Vincent had her abort the baby. Why didn’t you stop him?”
