Fated to my twin 95

Chapter95

She tilted her head slightly and smiled, “The heavens reveal

what they will, when they will. I cannot control their timing.”

I wanted to grab her robe and shook an answer out of her if I

had to, “That’s convenient, isn’t it! You’ve been here this whole

time, watching everything unravel, and you haven’t said a

damn word! No warning, no advice. NOTHING! What good are

your visions if they don’t come when we need them?!”

She wore that same calm mask, not bothered by my nasty tone

at all.

“The heavens do not test us by providing answers,” she said

gently. “They test us by challenging us to grow.”

I narrowed my eyes at her. “Grow? What’s that supposed to

mean?”

“It means that your trials are not about the problems you face,

but about how you face them. You have spent too long

suppressing your emotions, your power. You must learn to

embrace your full potential.”

What the hell was she talking about. What power? What

potential?

Her words struck a nerve, but I refused to let it show.

“That’s easy for you to say,” I snapped. “You’re not the one with

everything on the line.””

The seer stepped closer, her gaze piercing. “You are stronger

than you know, Queen Violet.”

Before I could respond, a sudden, sharp pain shot through my

chest. I gasped, doubling over, clutching my chest.

I thought someone stabbed me from the behind. But when I

looked down. There’s no physical wound. And there’s no blood.

Only the pain was real.

The seer’s expression darkened abruptly.

“It’s King Asher,” she said simply. “He is hurt.”

Violet’s POV

The first rays of dawn broke over the horizon as the soldiers

returned. Their figures appeared slowly, weary and bloodied

but victorious. My heart raced as I scanned the crowd,

searching for one face–the only one that mattered.

But no. I didn’t see him.

Asher wasn’t with them.

What the seer told me last night rang in my ears again.I almost

passed out in agony again. No, it can’t be true. Not Asher. He

promised me!

Philip shifted back to his human form and walked up to me. He

avoided my gaze, and that alone was enough to make my heart

plummet. I rushed toward him, grabbing his arm.

“Where’s him?” I cried, half–choking. My voice was sharp,

demanding, but I didn’t care. I needed answers.

He hesitated, his lips parting to speak, but no words came. His

silence was deafening.

“Philip!” I snapped, shaking him. “Tell me.GOD JUST TELL ME!

WHERE THE FUCK IS HIM?!”

He lowered his head, his voice barely above a whisper:

“Violet… he’s gone.”

Chapter95

Gone.

The word hit me like a blow to the chest. My mind refused to

process it.

“No,” I said firmly, staggering back and shaking my head. “No,

you’re fucking wrong. He’s not gone.”

Our Gamma Brian stepped forward, his expression grim.

“Queen Violet, we all saw it. King Asher-”

“Stop!” I yelled in tears, cutting him off. “You’re wrong. I would

feel it if he were gone. But I could still sense his pain, his

struggling, his wish to come back to me! He’s alive.“”

They exchanged uneasy glances, and Brian sighed.

“We brought Isaac back,” he said carefully, as though trying to

soften the blow. “The battle is won. That’s the good thing. King

Asher would be happy to know that our efforts didn’t go to

waste.”

“No,” I repeated, my voice trembling with anger now. “He

wouldn’t be happy! Because you left him. You fucking

abandoned him out there!”

“We didn’t. We’d brought him back if he’s alive. But he was-”

Chapter 95

“Don’t you dare say that word again!” I shouted. “How could

you? He’s your King! I want you to go out there and take him.

back. Do not return until you find him!”

The other warriors remained silent, their heads hung down. I

could see it in their eyes–they were tired, broken from the

battle, and unwilling to return to the field. Even Philip and

Brian, who were Asher’s right and left hand, looked reluctant.

“Violet,” Philip began, his tone cautious. “The men are

exhausted. They fought hard. They deserve a little rest. I can’t

order them to go out again. We also need to question Isaac and-”

“I don’t care about Isaac!” I spat, my voice shaking. “You can

question him all you want but I won’t be a part of that! I just

want my husband. And if none of you are willing to go back,

then I’ll go alone.”

“Queen Violet,” Brian said, his tone almost pleading. “Be

reasonable. You don’t even know where-”

“I know,” I interrupted, my voice firm. “I can feel him. He’s out

there, and he’s waiting for me. And I’m going to bring him

back.”
