I’ve never been so speechless in my life.
“Who you marry is none of my business. My family’s wealth has nothing to do with you.”
“But since you bullied Skylar, neither the Cross nor the Thorne family will let you off the hook.”
Some of the business owners present who knew Brandon exchanged glances.
They had previously thought Brandon was my son–in–law, which was why they gave him special treatment.
Now, seeing the situation, he looked more like an enemy than a prospective son–in–law.
It seemed their previous strategies needed to change.
Brandon looked incredulous. Hadn’t Victoria Cross always groomed him as her successor?
“You only have one daughter. Besides me, who else will help you manage the company?”
“Fine, if you insist on keeping Skylar, fine, but she won’t get a dime of the Thorne family assets. Maybe a small allowance at most,” he said, as if making a grand concession.
I couldn’t be bothered with this brain–dead nonsense anymore.
In a few swift motions, I tied them both up and threw them in front of Skylar.
The club’s security not only didn’t stop me but even helped hold them down.
“Beat them. Whatever they did to you, do it back to them!” I handed my daughter her crutch.

“Let’s go!” Brandon, seeing this, quietly wrapped his arm around Cassidy and started to leave.
“Please settle today’s bill first, Ms. Cassidy White owes a total of ninety–eight million dollars,” a staff member stopped them.
“Swipe it now,” Cassidy snapped, throwing out her black card.
The staff member smiled and handed the card back, “I’m sorry, but this card is invalid.”
“Impossible! This is an unlimited card, how can it be invalid?”
She spun around to face me, “You did this on purpose?”
*She deliberately raised the prices, then canceled the black card before payment, leaving me with a sky–high bill.*
This club was in a gray area.

Those who couldn’t pay their bills often ended up losing everything, and their whereabouts became
Thinking of this, Cassidy felt a chill run down her spine.
“I don’t want them! I don’t want any of those things!”
Her so–called good classmates looked at her with varying expressions, resentment in their eyes.
If not for this fake heiress, they wouldn’t have offended the Thorne and Cross families, and now they wouldn’t even get any material compensation. How could they accept that?
