Her mood got worse and worse. The more she thought about Caleb calling out another woman’s name at the bar, holding his phone and getting totally wasted, the harder she tried to fight against her own subconscious.

Phalicia kept giving herself hints, and suddenly the scene in her mind changed–it wasn’t the dim bar anymore, but a bright meeting room.
The man had his back to her, wearing a sharp, neat gray suit without a single wrinkle, standing straight.

Phalicia’s eyelids twitched and she slowly opened her eyes.
Outside, there was still a winding stream of cars.
She gripped the steering wheel, started the car and drove off, slowly blinked her eyes.
Actually thought of him.
That was pretty weird.

The next day, she rushed to the Jewelry Department and saw that Carlene was waiting at the door.
When she saw her coming, Carlene’s eyes lit up and she quickly waved at
her.
“Here, here!”
Phalicia paused for a second, then walked over.
“What happened?”
Carlene smiled mysteriously, “The company gave you 300 million, and you were looking all over the internet for popular influencers and celebrities to do some promotion, right?”
Phalicia nodded.
Carlene hugged her arm, “I found an influencer who was perfect for this promotion. She ran an account overseas, had two million followers, and was a fashion blogger.”
Phalicia squinted her eyes.
“With her influence, even overseas, she definitely could get a lot of
attention from international students. Do you think we should invite her?” Carlene looked at her eagerly.
Phalicia listened to her while coming into the meeting room and sitting down.
Seeing that everyone was here, she nodded a little as a greeting and sat down.
In the middle of all the greetings, she looked up, at Carlene.

“Who was this person? Made you come over so early just to recommend them to me,”
“You listen to me first.” Carlene smiled even brighter, sat down and tugged her, “This account owner was really picky about promoting products, and charged a lot–twice as much as bloggers of the same size in the country, but…”
“She’s an overseas blogger, and her price was so high, not really worth it.” Phalicia didn’t agree, tidied up the files in her hand and put them aside. “Let’s not consider this person.‘

She pulled at her lips and said casually, “Shevonne? I know her. Why did you recommend her?”

They all knew that before Phalicia and Caleb got engaged, this famous lovesick CEO from Haerford had dated an ex–girlfriend named Shevonne.
They said that when their relationship was stable, an overseas rich kid went after Shevonne really hard.
At that time, Caleb wasn’t the heir of Voyage Group yet. Shevonne seemed to like that guy’s money and better future than Caleb’s, so she broke up and went overseas without hesitation.
