I was watching a TV drama in the living room when I received a call from Kelly.

on a summer night poured down vigorously, with raindrops hitting the glass, shattering and winding, turning into streaks of water marks
Nini was lying next to me, snoring softly.
She said, “Let’s talk”
was eating the durian that Neil had bought, and couldn’t help but frown.
“What is there for me to talk to you about?”
“What’s the point of clinging onto him if you had already decided to divorce him?”
“Or are you just playing hard to get, and planning to back out?”
“I didn’t know what you were saving.”
I was about to hang up the phone, but Kelly got angry and said, “What are you pretending? If it weren’t for you bothering him, how could Lucas suddenly become cold towards me these days?”

Sooner or later, he will realize who he truly likes!”
She spoke so shamelessly, it truly opened my eyes.
However, I didn’t think Lucas would come to find me. We have been apart for so long and be hasn’t contacted me. I didn’t feel like getting involved with Kelly either, so I spat out a few words to her. “Stop talking nonsense. If you don’t mind the stench, I still find it disgusting.”
And then he hung up the phone.
However, at the moment the door opened, I was stunned.
Lucas stood outside, completely drenched, with not a trace of color on his lips, and ladled straight at me, in a very disheveled state.
He actually came.
“What are you here for?” I was a bit puzzled

“Im telling you, that guy who was following you and broke into your door earlier got caught by the police, I heard he’s already been detained,” she stared

Karli turned around and saw Lucas’s face, the doubt on his face disappeared in an instant, his eyes lit up. “Oh Helen, your friend is really good–looking, does she have a partner? My niece-
“He has already gotten married.”
“Oh.” Karli parsed her lips and reluctantly glanced at Lucas before leaving.
“What a pity.”
Lucas leaned against the door, looking somewhat bewildered, and asked, “Was what you said that day true? Did someone really break into your door?”
I raised my head coldly and asloed, “What else?”
“I thought you were..” his expression was somewhat complicated.
“Sorry.”
“Give it up.”
