I ran and ran, until I sat on a chair in the park and cried.
The old man selling sweet potatoes suddenly stopped beside me and handed me a warm sweet potato.
“Miss, why are you crying? You were not like this before.”
I was stunned and looked up at him.
It was then that I realized he was the old man who used to sell sweet potatoes at the entrance of my university when I was a student.
Back then, Oliver and I used to take care of his business regularly.
Every time, I would jump onto Oliver’s back, playfully wrestle with him, while the old man picked two big sweet potatoes for us.
The old man would always say, “You’re just like a mischievous monkey, but it’s also good because you won’t be sad about anything.”
Back then, I was carefree and really didn’t get sad about anything.

I held the sweet potato and cried uncontrollably.
At this moment, Oliver had already caught up with me and he embraced me tightly.
