Over the following two days. I tried to forget about my encounter with Keshton and pull myself together. I threw myself in hospital work and picked up an online blogging gig for extra cash, my nights had become long and busy.
At the pack. Aries often joined me during his free time, we grew close during our interactions making time pass happily. Without realizing it, we became close friends.
However, I had noticed that since that day no rogue in the pack dared to cross paths with me. If they did they would look quite panicked and would avoid me like plague..
“Aries, what happened to Noah’s friends? I haven’t seen them since that day?” I asked as I walked by the same bathroom that I had been caught by Noah in.
“They left…” Aries smiled.
I nodded in surprise but did not ask much about the situation. However, whenever I crossed paths with Keshton, I treated him as if he were just another object in the room, ignoring his cold glares and dominating aura. I remained focused on my tasks, refusing to let his presence affect me.
Then, on the third day. Aries did not show up. Instead, it was Glen that paid me a visit in the evening.
“Hey, wanna carn some extra cash?” He offered out of the blue, which made me suspicious.
“Cash? How?”
“Actually we are short of serving staff at the moment. If you help then you will get a nice sum of cash at the end of the day.
I had a lot of experience in serving since I had worked as a waitress in the past, plus the offer was profitable, “but I still have hours left here,” I pointed out.
“Not a problem. Follow me if you are ready,” he gestured.
After a couple of seconds of thinking it over I agreed but was surprised when he led me inside the packhouse. I hesitated f a couple of seconds until my eyes landed on other serving Omegas going here and there.
Glen left and the head Omega explained to me what I needed to do. Walking down the hallway with a tray of wine, I marveled at the beauty of the mansion. Once I reached the door of the room where I was supposed to serve, I took a deep breath before entering. What came into my view was… Keshton.
I froze in place as our eyes locked for the first time in three days. Dressed in a navy blue suit with his legs crossed, he emitted a powerful aura, but the look in his eyes was unreadable.
“So she is the one.. the unfamiliar yet deep voice of a man attracted my attention.
I looked around the room, noticing three unfamiliar faces in addition to Glen and Aries, seated on different sofas. Aries seemed surprised to see me, while Glen avoided making eye contact with me instead busying himself with eating some nuts. Cuilty for calling me over without providing necessary details.
“May I have a drink, please?” Christian smiled at me, indicating his empty glass.
I felt a wave of hesitation wash over me as I realized that the three unfamiliar faces were A the other day, whom I had glimpsed from behind.

Now they were all in the same room, and I have to serve all of them. The situation was nerve–wracking enough with Keshton alone, but with three more Alphas added to the mix, it felt overwhelming.
Though a part of me wanted to turn around and leave the room, I knew there was no going back once I had stepped inside. It was too late for regrets, I couldn’t simply run away. Instead, I lifted my gaze to meet Keshton’s for a brief moment, reminding myself that I was only there for some extra cash and would leave as soon as my task was done
I began to move and started my work.

Keshton glanced at his friends then turned to Christian, who was sitting closest to him. “What were you guys thinking, calling her here!” His voice was low. But I could still hear him.
“We were curious about your possession and wanted to take a look at her,” Christian casually explained
Keshton stared at him blankly. “Do you guys have a death wish?”
“Not before meeting her, Christian responded with a playful wink, diverting his attention to me, who was pouring wine into a glass with graceful precision. I remained calm and collected amid our exchange.
